The Apartments:
The apartments have been tastefully finished to a very high standard and quality specification. The resort currently boasts a 9 hole golf course with 24 hour security. When the course opened in October 2008, a local golf professional described the par 5 holes as 'challenging' and the greens as 'some of the best in Murcia'.

The weekly Wednesday street market is a great opportunity to stock up on locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables, hams, cheeses, olives, clothes and shoes etc, before having a drink and tapas in one of our friendly tavernas!

VILLA FOR SALE IN PUNTA BRAVA - COSTA BRAVA - SPAIN. This villa has become one of the most architecturally significant structures built in Spain's Costa Brava in recent years. The villa was designed by the famous Catalan architect, Oscar Tusquets Blanca, who was a close friend of Salvador Dali and participated in designing the world famous Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueras. Tusquets designed a number of notable buildings in Barcelona (exhibition halls and hotels) that stand out for their artistic approach. Being a talented artist and a conceptual designer, Oscar Tusquets' works have no other choice but to become modern art objects. This is very true of the Villa in Costa Brava. Beginning with the shape of the building, no traditional approaches work for this villa which has no right angles. Its shape consists of two three-story triangle pieces horizontally attached to each other. Instead of one facade, the villa has two painted in different colors. The whole construction is masterly situated on the property and makes an absolutely magnificent part of the landscape. The house was cleverly designed to take full advantage of the magnificent sea and mountain view each room. Even with its impressive dimensions (1500 square meters), the villa does not look like a massive construction. Instead, it looks very light and exquisitely elegant due to its unusual shape. The villa's unusual concept may astonish some in very many ways. For instance, the villa has no traditional entrance. The wall of rock and waterfall flowing down are artistically lit, decorating the villa's indoor swimming pool. The spa area is also equipped with sauna, Turkish bath and cascades.
Floors of the numerous terraces of the villa, as well as its huge solarium (with jacuzzi and bar), are made of a special wood that is uaed on the most expensive of yachts. All 6 suites, study, walk-in closets, home cinema and huge living areas are decorated with clear and colored glass and laquered wood.
The wine cellar is a combination of original design and state-ofthe-art technologies: 4.5 m ceilings, climate control, glass doors
and walls. Technical equipment for the villa is of the most advanced level. All systems of the home are fully automated (info level6) that
allows programming and reprogramming of the systems of the entire house or its separate rooms. The latest generation security system, as well as panic room with its own survival system, guarantees full safety to all people inside the villa for a substantial period of time. The villa has its own source of water and independent electricity generator. Advanced solar batteries that follow the movement of the sun substantially reduce costs of electricity.
The landscape was designed by Artur Bossy, who found a perfect balance between the wild and spectacular beauty of the landscape with an incredibly artistic garden with a water cascade, mini-river, and exotic trees and plants. Undoubtedly, this is a very intrinsic part of the villa's complete perfection. Each element of the villa was perfectly and immaculately designed, making it a design masterpiece and outstanding object of art.

It's Saturday. The 4th day of our holiday in San Miguel de Salinas, Spain. Izzy's off out shopping for the day with her friend, Keshra and Imo's taking the opportunity to do a bit of exploring on foot....it's not just mad dogs and Englishmen that go out in the midday sun you know, Welsh girls do too, albeit separately on this occasion.
Imo spots an enticing looking castle in the distance from a vantage point and is drawn to it by its irresistible lure. Will it turn out to be the ancient castle that she hoped for?
Later on, Imo is astonished by the low cost of beer in the Mas y Mas supermarket.
