I went to an amazing place - again. It was really fun to visit an owl cafe in Tokyo for the first time. Partly, I was even afraid to touch some of the birds, especially the hawks. But after you get used to it, it's simply an amazing experience.

Aufm Programm stand für den 2. Tag Akihabara (die Massage-Sessel.. xD) und später ein Eulen-Café. Letzteres war für mich nicht ganz so easy. Kaum hatte ich das Café betreten, wollte ich eigentlich schon wieder raus, weil ich mir alles (besonders die Haltung) anders vorgestellt hatte (z.B. so wie Cat Cafés..? Oder einfach ein richtiges Café und da gibts auch so Eulen und so..?). Der Besitzer gab sich aber sehr viel Mühe mit den Eulen und auch wenn dieses gemischte Gefühl blieb, war's doch auch schön, diese tollen Tiere zu sehen.

Owl cafe in Shinjuku (Tokyo) has over 12 owls. The entrance fee includes one drink and petting an owl. The inside of the store also takes care of small children and elderly people, so everyone can have a good time.

Went to Ikebukuro again but this time we visited an Owl Cafe! There were way more owls than I thought there would be. An hour there costs about 1500 yen (15$).

What do you do when you study abroad? Going on many fun trips with international friends, of course!! This video was made after one of our many fun days in Tokyo: visiting the Owl cafe (called Ikefukuro) in Ikebukuro. Ikebukuro is known to be Tokyo's owl city, that's why they have an owl cafe there :)! In reality it wasn't really a cafe, but more of an owl petting place, we really enjoyed it!
