Canada, Our Country | Curated Exhibition at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery
This spring, Rohinton Medhora, President of the Centre for International Governance Innovation, and Neil Turok, Director of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, took part in a Community Curator project at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery. The resulting exhibition — Canada, Our Country — undertakes a balanced exploration of Canada's natural beauty and history as well as its role as a global centre for education, research and technology.

Steven Restagno - 16 year old inspiring artist - Kitchener Waterloo
yourcommunitystories.com Steven Restagno, an uprising young artist who lives in St. Agatha Ontario Canada who has had a passion for art since he can remember. Now 16, Steven spends his free time playing a wide variety of instruments' (too many to mention) performs in many school bands and choirs, and also plays violin in the Kitchener Waterloo Youth Synfonia. Steven's main passion is visual art, from painting, sketching, sculpting clay, and woodcarving to mention a few.He loves how he can show his hidden emotions on canvas. His creativity is endless. Steven says You can't compare self-expression and I think that's a major problem in high school I know a lot of people who are amazing at art and they don't want to put themselves out there because of this.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its March 2015 art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to view online. The theme for this art exhibition is “All Women” and only women artists were asked to submit their best art. There was no overall artistic theme for this competition.
Artist marketing expert Aletta de Wal was the guest judge for this art competition. She is the author of “My Real Job is Being an Artist”, she is a successful Artist Advisor and a Certified Visual Coach. Aletta de Wal inspires fine artists to make a better living making art in any economy. Her website is
An art competition was held in February 2015 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 27 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 43 different states. Overall, there were 1,145 entries judged for this art competition.
