Julicher Estate is a family owned boutique winery in the Te Muna Valley in Martinborough. What attracted Sue and Wim 20 years ago to the Te Muna Valley was the feeling of peacefulness and tranquillity when they entered the valley for the first time.
The Te Muna land is rich with alluvial gravel left behind after the Huangarua river retreated many thousands of years ago. Like the river, Julicher has worn its own path to become a successful and award-winning Martinborough and New Zealand winery.
Our dedication, passion and drive have put us on a journey that has overcome many challenges to achieve perfection.
When translated, Te Muna means secret place but Wim and Sue want to share their secret, and their beautiful wines with the world.
