Papamoa is the largest and fastest growing suburb of the city of Tauranga. Until the early 1980's the area was mostly farmland but is now a thriving urban area helping to make Tauranga New Zealad's fifth largest city. With extensive shopping options, Papamoa is just a short drive from central Tauranga and Mount Manganui. The beach at Papamoa is a well known fishing and surfing spot and has miles of beautiful white beaches that stretch from Mount Manganui to Kaituna River. There's a good range of holiday accomodation ranging from camping and caravan sites to swish self catering appartments right on the beach.

Mount Maunganui - There's No Place Like Home
A short film that I have created, filmed and edited that took me 7 weeks to complete,
It's purpose is to showcase and capture my perspective of Mount Maunganui and see it through my eyes.
Capturing some of our local talents, as well as the beautiful mauao, the landscape, the beach and the summer lifestyle.
With this film i am able to share my view, connect and work with people with the same goals.
I would like to thank everyone who was apart of this fun project, and made my visuals come through.

Papamoa Beach Resort is 15 minutes’ drive from Mount Maunganui and Tauranga Airport. Waimarino Adventure Park and Spring Loaded Fun Park are both within 18.6 miles.
All accommodation features a fully equipped kitchen, a sofa and a flat-screen TV. Each include a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. Electric blankets and tea/coffee making facilities are also provided.

In this fun episode, Mia and Halle (two New Zealand girls), with special guest star Caitlyn, are visiting Papamoa Beach for surfcast fishing (surfcasting) to celebrate their Uncle Matt's birthday. It is winter here is New Zealand and the ocean is cold, but that does not stop the fun. The beach landscape is so beautiful.
Surfcasting is when you fish by casting a line into the sea from the shore.
Papamoa Beach is renowned for surfing and fishing. It is located in Papamoa which is the largest suburb in the city of Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. Papamoa has 16km of beautiful white sand stretching from it's boundaries Mount Maunganui in the west to the Kaituna River in the east.

Mount Maunganui and Papamoa Beach - New Zealand
Mount Maunganui is a town in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand, located on a peninsula to the north of Tauranga. It was independent from Tauranga until the completion of the Tauranga Harbour Bridge in 1988.
Papamoa has 16km of white sandy beach stretching from the boundary with Mount Maunganui in the west to the Kaituna River in the east. Widespread settlement of the area did not start until the early 1980s and prior to this Papamoa had been largely a rural area.
