Chester and other cheerful visitors at Peggy of the Cove
Visitors from two years ago, stopped to capture photos of their year old family member. A few others participated in humorous videos to brighten theirs and my day. Hopefully their joyous occasion at Peggy of the Cove in Glen Margaret, Nova Scotia, Canada will brighten yours too.

Peggys Cove, Nova Scotia
Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia is a little community on the shores of St. Margaret's Bay and Known for its Lighthouse up on the Rocks.
Almost a half a million Visitors from all over make the short Scenic drive from Halifax to Peggy's Cove every year.
Here you can look out to the Atlantic Ocean, Watch the waves come crashing in, Climb the rocks, visit the fishing docks and have some local food.
This is an amazing spot for photos...
Today's trip to Peggy's Cove was to show some new friends around. I have a couple from Belgium staying with me via CouchSurfing and another couple from Germany who are also travelling through Canada and Peggy's Cove seemed like a great place to show them...
CouchSurfing is a site to connect other travelers with a place to stay, local hospitality....
Even on a foggy day, the waves were spectacular as they came crashing in against the rocks!
The power of the Atlantic Ocean is an incredible thing..
After heading back to Halifax, we decide to make a stop at the Dingle Tower in Sir Sandford Flemming Park. This is a Tower that sits quite visible on the Northwest Arm.....and up the stairs we go to check out the fabulous views.
Thanks for watching!!

Driving the Scenic Loop to Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia Dashcam
Nova Scotia offers endless kilometers of coastline, but none of it is more scenic than the rocky bluffs at Peggy's Cove. This drive begins and ends at Route 3, and follows the scenic Route 333 loop counter-clockwise around the peninsula. I was running late that day, and unfortunately it was dark by the time I finished the drive -- but I think you'll still get a good idea of what this scenic road has to offer.

I made this trip in early October, 2016. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera, mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras - one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens).
