The video is shot by myself in May, 2017. The peak season of tourist in this coastal city is from June to August, when people in Beijing and other nearby cities in Northeast China come to enjoy the beach.
Mao Zedong, the founder of People's Republic of China, visited the beach once in 1954, and wrote a poem about it. The poem is as follow, I found its English translation on allpoetry.com -- provided at no charge for educational purposes.

I have been living in China for over 2 years and I finally decided to upload a tour of the apartment I have been living in. The city I live in is called Qinhuangdao （秦皇岛）and it is located in the Hebei （河北）province.
This apartment was provided to me for free by my school and it is located on the school campus.
This city is quite small by Chinese standards and there doesn't seem to be many videos that showcase it so I would like to change that because this is my favourite city in China. I would love to show this awesome city to more people. It has everything I need: a relatively clean environment, beaches and it isn't crowded.

This is the END of the GREAT WALL of CHINA! | Visiting The Old Dragon's Head in Qinhuangdao
Come along with me to the district of Shanhaiguan in the city of Qinhuangdao, China. This city is located in Hebei province and is a place I have called home for 3 years.
The Old Dragon's Head （老龙头）is where the Great Wall of China finishes! This is the end of the Great Wall of China!
Most of this area has been rebuilt because it has been destroyed. Although you can't see a fully ancient great wall, you at least get to see the point where it does not continue anymore.
Most people only envision the Great Wall stretching for miles in both directions, so I think one can feel surprised to see it come to an end on a beach in Shanhaiguan. Also, the majority of tourists usually visit the Great Wall of China in Beijing because few of them actually come to Qinhuangdao. In this video, I can't show you where the Great Wall of China begins, but I can at least show you the end! Hahaha.

Visiting Chengdu's Top Tourist Attraction: Kuan Zhai Xiang Zi With A Local Chinese Girl
宽窄巷子 (Kuan Zhai Xiang Zi) is one of Chengdu's top tourist attraction. This tourist destination is an ancient walking street in Sichuan where people can buy tasty Sichuan specialty food and local souvenirs. Coming here is a must if you are in Chengdu. So now you know what to do in Chengdu!
I came here with a local friend, Jia Jia, to show me around this area and act as my tour guide for part of Chengdu. We ate a filling snack called San Da Pao (三大炮) which are glutinous rice balls with a sugar coating and ate an assortment of meat, kelp and vegetables boiled in chili oil, rabbit heads, rice in a pineapple and cold beef with offal.
I really enjoyed walking around here with Jia Jia. The night scene is awesome because it is so lively and there is so much to film!

CHINA TRIP 2017 VLOGS (PART TWO)
This is the second instalment of the China vlogs four part series! In this part I ride bikes on North wall in Xi'An, eat a lot of food, visit a history museum, fly to Beijing, Ride on a rickshaw, and see a Kung Fu show in the Red Theatre.
These 2 couple of days were a ton of fun and I found Beijing to be my favourite city out of the four that we all went to while in China.

It's my first weekend in Beijing after I moved to China. I still have some friends in Beijing from my students exchange times. Sandy is one of those friends I met when I was studying at the Beijing Foreign Studies University.
We had coffee with Sandy at Solana shopping mall near Liangmaqiao area. Getting to the Solana shopping mall was such a struggle, I had difficulties to find it because the staff member at the subway station instructed me to the wrong direction. Anyhow, after all the struggles I finally found Solana shopping mall and met with Sandy.
It was so lovely to meet with Sandy after all these years. Sandy taught me some local North-Eastern Chinese dialect. I think it's fun to learn Chinese dialects, although I have confess I barely know any words in any Chinese dialects. I also taught Sandy some Finnish.
I realised that this day was a typical example of life in China, how it resembles going to the gym. First you have to suffer before you succeed. But once you succeed, man, it feels good! Life in China can be so much fun!
