Macedon Masterchef Challenge @ Piper Street Food Co, July 3rd 2015 #macedonmc #piperstfoodco
Macedon Master Chef Challenge was held on July 3rd @ The Piper Street Food Company in Kyneton. The event was led by Top 10 MasterChef Australia contestants Alice Zaslavsky and Beau Cook. Alice recently published the book ‘Alice’s A-Z of Cooking’ for young people and is also the host of the TV show ‘Kitchen Whiz’. Beau has a healthy eating website and is working as a career firefighter. These two inspiring cooks ran two huge challenges for young people aged 12-18years. We congratulate all the participant's involved :-)

TORNADO AFTERMATH-KYNETON,VICTORIA AUSTRALIA. Vid 1.
It Happened on the 25/04/2009. 5 klms North of Kyneton on the Kyneton Redesdale Road. It paved a 2 kilometer path of destruction about 150 meters wide during evening thunderstorms that week! A house on the Kyneton - Heathcote rd about 1 klm away was narrowly missed by fallen 20 - 30 meter trees & debris whilst on this same video a house just off this road(redesdale rd) nearly got the full brunt off it just missing it by 100 meters, but the bushland got destroyed leaving downed trees & debris scattered over a 200 meter wide x 500 meter long stretch!

The Great Macarthy
Macarthy (John Jarratt, in his debut film role) is a young star footballer, playing for the small country town of Kyneton. Macarthy is kidnapped by strongmen from the South Melbourne Football Club, using a helicopter in an innovative manner. This surprise operation is organised by club president, Colonel Ball-Miller (Barry Humphries), who also sets Macarthy up with a job in his company. Macarthy soon adapts to his new football club and his new job, under the watchful supervision of devoted company man and boss, Mr Webster (John Frawley).
