Shot Saturday September 7th 2014. This park was nicer then I thought it would be has a better beach and a bit more size then other lake Erie camp grounds. Also has some nice forested areas to hike through and I liked that fact our campsite had a ravine with running water behind. The only one con was the showers were not hot they were just warm and on a cool night its not worth going in. Leander campground had hot showers, so avoid Alorza for now if you love the showers.

The Ojibwa is a submarine that served in the Royal Canadian Navy and later the Canadian Forces Maritime Command. This submarine was NEVER DETECTED by enemies. It was able to sneak passed so many other operating submarines. To this day, no one knows the route it took. FUN FACT: The propellers are specially designed to sound like a school of fish to any submarine that detects something nearby.

A Fun Day at Port Burwell Provincial Park Beach
Aderyn 29m Brandt 4m. Brandt's first beach trip. Love how this series of clips/photos from the day shows Aderyn progressively getting more and more confident in the lake. At first she was afraid and didn't even want to get changed into her bathing suit. Brandt loved the calming sound of the lake and had a nap on mommy.

Port Burwell - Lake Erie - Full Flight - Top Land & Beach Landing
Winds were smooth but strong, often pushing me back past the ridge if I didn't have some speed bar applied.
To land the first flight (19:00), I was pulling on big ears to see how the wing reacted. It was still going forward and I was too close to the ridge. I wasn't in any hurry to land though... just testing it out. I ended up landing without actually using big ears at that moment... probably because I was enough behind the lift band.
Second flight (20:35)... well, I thought there was going to be more lift than there was, and I should have hugged the ridge more to get any bit of lift possible. Oh well.
