New Zealand Cruise: Destination Napier
Our third port of call in New Zealand was Napier and I have to say it was our favourite city, with it's unique 1930s architecture born of a devastating Earthquake and its charming and friendly atmosphere. We went for a ride on a Supertrike, something I highly recommend. A big shout out to the tour guide and rider who took us for a spin.
Port of Call... Wellington, NZ
I was recently in New Zealand for the Rugby World Cup, and stayed in the beautiful and scenic Captial City. Wellington is a quaint seaside city with wonderful landscapes, a bustling downtown, and people who make you feel welcome. I highly recommend you go there, if given the chance.

Viper over Napier New Zealand
Viper Flight over Napier in New Zealand mainly over the beach.
During a cruise to New Zealand in November 2016, Viper took a flight over Napier. The beach was pebble rock, not sand, so very different to what we are use to.
Had issues with Viper as the Curise line security had confiscated him as a security risk as we boarded. I was allowed to take the batteries (which I would have thought to be more of a risk) so was able to charge them.
To use him I had to request him the day before the port call I wanted him, they had to receive permission from Port Authority for me t take Viper on land.
Under New Zealand regulations I had to have permission from the land owner I was flying over as well.
With all the issues, Viper only got off the ship once, in Napier.
