Prado Regional Park Campground and RV Park in Chino California is located in the Chino Valley basin where San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange and Los Angeles Counties connect and offers full hookup RV sites and tent camping sites. With both shaded and open areas the sites are spread out to provide privacy and room to play. Playgrounds, ball fields, and a recreational fishing lake are available. The park is just off CA 71 at Euclid Ave with a gated and patrolled entrance the camping sites are located out in the back of the park. The placement keeps traffic on the camping loops to a minimum, moves the sites far away from any highways and helps to set a calm ambiance as campers enter to the park.
A short distance away from Chino Hills State Park Prado Regional Park is a San Bernardino County Park managed for the enjoyment and benefit of the public. Fishing is popular on the lake along with bird watching (the area is a riparian habit replete with large numbers of migrating and local birds). Within a short distance of the park are a RC plane airport, the Olympic Shooting Range, a nice disc golf course and during warmer months a water play area.
Campsites include a picnic table and fire ring. Set in to two loops the camping areas are accessible for any size RV or trailer combination. Use care with your small pets and children as the natural setting is home to native species of snakes and predators. The grassy areas are well kept but gopher and rabbit holes do pose dangers.
The furthest loop is better suited to large RVs while the first loop has sites for small RVs and tents.
Reservations are recommended and can be made online or via phone. This area is famous for bad rush hour traffic on the freeways so plan your travels during non-peak times. Open year round the campground is a great off season destination with low crowds and great weather. During the summer the area can be very warm but does benefit with a sea breeze influence for evenings and mornings.

Getting to know camping! At Prado Regional park Chino CA
This was alot of fun! THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I CAMPED OUT! I was nervous about driving in the rainy weather. Not only that, the trailer feels really heavy on the back. And need lots of room for braking! Not to mention turning. All this can be a challenge, BUT IT WAS FUN! TONS OF FUN AT THE END!

What is cyclocross (from wikipedia)
Cyclo-cross (sometimes cyclocross, CX, CCX, cyclo-X or 'cross) is a form of bicycle racing. Races typically take place in the autumn and winter (the international or World Cup season is October–February), and consist of many laps of a short (2.5–3.5 km or 1.5–2 mile) course featuring pavement, wooded trails, grass, steep hills and obstacles requiring the rider to quickly dismount, carry the bike while navigating the obstruction and remount.[1][2] Races for senior categories are generally between 30 minutes and an hour long, with the distance varying depending on the ground conditions. The sport is strongest in the traditional road cycling countries such as Belgium (Flanders in particular), France and the Netherlands.

Chino (/ˈtʃiːnoʊ/ CHEE-noh) is a city in the western end of San Bernardino County, California, United States with Los Angeles County to its west and Orange County to its south in the Southern California region. Chino is adjacent to Chino Hills, California. Chino’s surroundings have long been a center of agriculture and dairy farming, providing milk products in Southern California and much of the southwestern United States. Chino's agricultural history dates back to the Spanish land grant forming Rancho Santa Ana del Chino. The area specialized in orchard, row crops and dairy.
Chino is bounded by Chino Hills, and Los Angeles County to the west, Pomona to the northwest, unincorporated San Bernardino County (near Montclair) to the north, Ontario to the northeast, Eastvale to the Southeast in Riverside County and Orange County to the southwest. It is easily accessible via the Chino Valley (71) and Pomona (60) freeways. The population was 77,983 at the 2010 census.
Downtown Chino is home to satellite branches of the San Bernardino County Library and Chaffey Community College, the Chino Community Theatre, the Chino Boxing Club and a weekly Farmer's Market. In 2008, the city of Chino was awarded the prestigious 100 Best Communities for Youth award for the second time in three years.[8] Chino hosted shooting events for the 1984 Summer Olympics at the Prado Olympic Shooting Park in the Prado Regional Park.

Fire at Prado Park Chino CA from Inspire 1 4k
This footage was taken at sundown on the 18th of April, 2015 from a turnoff of highway 71. Any air firefighting operations were suspended for nightfall after the last water drop seen in the footage. Two firefighters were interested in the footage I was taking, and commented how a tool like the Inspire 1 would allow them to quickly evaluate the progress, and locations of the fire without waiting for the air crews.

I'm always looking for calm and soothing places to take pictures of people and bodies of water naturally brings us to a sense of calmness. I found just the perfect serene place at the Inland Empire Utilities Agency in Chino, California. Hope you enjoy the scenery as much as I did shooting it. Next time I'll add some piano music to go with it. Nathan Trujillo Photography in Chino Hills, Ca. 909.464.9614 careditor@earthlink.net
