Taygetos is the highest mountain range in the Peloponnese. Its peak is 2.404 meters high and is called Prophet Elias.
Apart from being an incredible mountain beauty, Taygetos is known for its pyramid phenomenon
Miracle of nature, work of people or something else?
Its existence alone has raised a multitude of discussions among scientists and mystics.
The phenomenon is perceived both in the Sunrise (especially then) or in the Sunset

Patmos Greece - Patmos Grecia
Patmos is a small Greek island in the Aegean Sea. It is one of the Dodecanese islands, it has a population of roughly 3,000 and an area of 34.6 km² (13 square miles). The highest point is Profitis Ilias, 269 meters above sea level.
Patmos' main communities are Hora and Skala, the only commercial port. The churches and communities on Patmos are of the Eastern Orthodox tradition.
Patmos is most notable for its mention in the Christian scriptural Book of Revelation. The book's introduction states that the author, John, has been exiled to Patmos, and that there he saw and recorded a vision from Jesus. Very early Christian tradition identifies this John as Saint John the Evangelist. As such, Patmos is a destination for Christian pilgrimage. Visitors can visit the cave where John supposedly saw the Revelation. Several monasteries on the island are dedicated to Saint John.

Ιερά Μονή Προφήτη Ηλία Ηλιοβουνίου ( Νομός Πρεβέζης )
Στον εθνικό δρόμο Άρτας-Πρέβεζας, πάνω από το χωριό Πέτρα (μεταξύ Νέας Κερασούντας και Λούρου) υπάρχει το παλαιό μοναστήρι του Προφήτη Ηλία (γίνεται αυτοτελής μονή το 1720). Βρισκεται στην κορυφή του Ηλιοβουνίου (υψ. 560μ.)χτισμένο απο καλόγερους οι οποίοι...
κατέφυγαν εκεί μετά την καταστροφή της μονής των Ρωγών η οποία έγινε σε άγνωστη εποχή, το μοναστήρι αυτό προσέφερε πολλά στους σκλαβωμένους Έλληνες στα χρόνια της Τουρκοκρατίας, κυρίως με τη χρηματοδότηση σχολείων με 22.000 γρόσια το χρόνο. Αυτός ήταν ο λόγος που γνώρισε την καταστρεπτική μανία του Αλή πασά και του γιου του, Μουχτάρ.
Οι καταστροφές της Μονής συνεχίστηκαν κατά τον πόλεμο του 1897 και ολοκληρώθηκαν με την πυρπόλησή της στα χρόνια της Γερμανικής κατοχής.Το καμπαναριό κατασκευάστηκε απο δωρεές ενοικιαστών του λιβαδίου της μονής το ετος 1908,την δε καμπάνα ανέλαβε να προμηθεύσει ο ενοκιαστής Γ.Ποταμιάνος
