Transcript:
Hi. My name is Michelle, and I am currently an intern in the Public Affairs Section at the
U.S. Embassy Vienna. Today, I'm here to tell you about my home state of Ohio.
Ohio often serves as a bridge between the Midwest and the Northeast, making it a popular hub for business. After all, it is home to Wendy's and Abercrombie & Fitch.
Ohio sits on Lake Erie to the north and is bordered by the Ohio River to the South allowing for many ports, as well as a lot of sailing, kayaking, and fishing. The river also gave Ohio its name. The Iroquois word ohi-yo means great river.
Native Americans inhabited Ohio for quite some time, with the Adena and Hopewell tribes being the most famous. Both tribes were mound-builders leaving behind spectacular works that are still studied today, mainly the Great Serpent Mound of the Adena and the earthworks from the Hopewell. However, these and most other indigenous cultures disappeared from Ohio by the late 17th century.
On March 1, 1803, Ohio became the 17th state. Today, Ohio has three major cities, known as the three C's, which cut diagonally across the state. Cincinnati is in the southwest, Columbus, the state capital, in the middle, and Cleveland, the Mistake on the Lake, in the northeast, where I'm from.
On the shore of Lake Erie, Cleveland is home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. While
often picked on by outsiders, Cleveland is a great place to live. It is also home to several
professional sports teams, including with my favorite baseball team-the Cleveland Indians. Go Tribe! Cleveland also has the second largest Playhouse Square in the country and the Cleveland Clinic and University hospitals which are world-renowned.
Also, my home town is often used as a backdrop in movies. In fact, The Avengers was
partially filmed in Cleveland and the upcoming Iron Man III and Captain America will
be as well.
Columbus is home to one of the largest college campuses in the country, The Ohio State
University, home of the Buckeyes, where you can always here our state rock song, Hang on Sloopy. As with most schools, our football team is the most well-known with seven national championships, but we can claim dozens of championships in other sports as well. Olympic gold-medalist Jesse Owens, basketball-star Bobby Knight, and golfer Jack Nicklaus all attended Ohio State.
Ohio is known as the Buckeye state, after the Ohio Buckeye Tree. Another nickname is the Birthplace of Aviation, as Ohio was home to the Wright brothers. Ohio is also the
birthplace of seven presidents and home to an eighth. One of these presidents James A.
Garfield lived less than twenty minutes from my home.
Ohio is home to both John Glenn, the first American to orbit the Earth, and Neil
Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon.
If you get out of the cities, you will see the beauty of Ohio that I love. The farmlands,
forests, and gentle hills are great for hiking, picnics, and even swimming if you're so brave. Here you can get all four seasons, gorgeous sunsets, and can drink your morning coffee while watching the deer in your backyard.
Ohio offers the best of both worlds, with the bustle of the city and the beauty of the country, so I invite you to visit-we have something for everyone.
Nashville (HD)
Here is a video of Nashville, TN ! Please subscribe :) !
Nashville is the capital of the U.S. state of Tennessee and the county seat of Davidson County. It is located on the Cumberland River in Davidson County, in the north-central part of the state. The city is a center for the health care, music, publishing, banking and transportation industries, and is home to a large number of colleges and universities.
Nashville has a consolidated city-county government which includes seven smaller municipalities in a two-tier system. The population of Nashville-Davidson County stood at 635,710 as of 2009, according to United States Census Bureau estimates. This makes it the second most populous city in the state after Memphis. However, the 2009 population of the entire 13-county Nashville Metropolitan Statistical Area was 1,582,264, making it the largest metropolitan area in the state. The 2009 population of the Nashville-Davidson--Murfreesboro--Columbia combined statistical area was estimated at 1,666,566.
The downtown area of Nashville features a diverse assortment of entertainment, dining, cultural and architectural attractions. The Broadway and 2nd Avenue areas feature entertainment venues, night clubs and an assortment of restaurants. North of Broadway lies Nashville's central business district, Legislative Plaza, Capitol Hill and the Tennessee Bicentennial Mall. Cultural and architectural attractions can be found throughout the city.
The downtown area of Nashville is easily accessible. Three major interstate highways (I-40, I-65 and I-24) converge near the core area of downtown, and many regional cities are within a day's driving distance.
Nashville's first skyscraper, the Life & Casualty Tower, was completed in 1957 and started the construction of high rises in downtown Nashville. After the construction of the AT&T Building in 1994, the downtown area saw little construction until the mid-2000s. Many new residential developments have been constructed or are planned for the various neighborhoods of downtown and midtown. A new high rise office building, The Pinnacle, was recently opened in 2010.
Many civic and infrastructure projects are either being planned, in progress, or recently completed. A new MTA bus hub was recently completed in downtown Nashville, as was the Music City Star pilot project. Several public parks have been constructed, such as the Public Square. Riverfront Park is scheduled to be extensively updated. The Music City Center, a convention center project, has been approved for the downtown area and is currently under construction.

Cleveland is in the center of Bradley County situated among a series of low hills and ridges roughly 15 miles (24 km) west of the Blue Ridge Mountains and 15 miles (24 km) east of the Chickamauga Lake impoundment of the Tennessee River. The Hiwassee River, which flows down out of the mountains and forms the northern boundary of Bradley County, empties into the Tennessee a few miles northwest of Cleveland. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city had a total land area of 26.9 square miles (69.7 km2) in 2010. The Subway/Metro Red Line in Cleveland, Ohio 2019
This was filmed on a Saturday.
The Red Line (formerly Route 66, also known as the Airport–Windermere Line) is a rapid transit line of the RTA Rapid Transit system in Cleveland, Ohio, running from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport northeast to Tower City in downtown Cleveland, then east and northeast to Windermere. 2.6 miles (4.2 km) of track, including two stations (Tri-C–Campus District and East 55th), are shared with the light rail Blue and Green Lines; the stations have high platforms for the Red Line and low platforms for the Blue and Green Lines. The whole Red Line is built next to former freight railroads. It follows former intercity passenger rail as well, using the pre-1930 right-of-way of the New York Central from Brookpark to West 117th, the Nickel Plate from West 98th to West 65th, and the post-1930 NYC right-of-way from West 25th to Windermere. The Red Line uses overhead lines and pantographs to draw power. ~Wikipedia

More information about the video content bellow:
1. Ohio didn't officially become a state until 1953. It was declared a state in 1803, but didn't get the presidential stamp of approval until President Dwight Eisenhower signed off. He back-dated the declaration to the original date.
2. The Cuyahoga River has caught on fire at least 13 times; it’s aptly nicknamed “The River That Caught Fire.” The river was one of the most polluted rivers in the country and would catch fire after sparks from the train would fall into the water. After a highly media-covered fire in 1969, Congress was inspired to clean up pollution across the country and established the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
3. Cleveland may seem like a strange place for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but it makes more sense than most people probably realize. Alan Freed, a disc jockey at Cleveland’s WJW station, coined the term “rock and roll” on his radio show and was also instrumental in introducing a larger audience to rhythm and blues. New York City was also in the running, but in the end, Cleveland lobbied harder (and ponied up $65 million in public funding).
4. Newark, Ohio, is probably the only place in the world where hundreds of people work in a basket. The Longaberger basket company headquarters is world-renowned for its distinct shape. The massive “Medium Market Basket” stands 7 stories tall and covers about 180,000 square feet, with handles that weigh more than 150 tons.
5. Kelleys Island, located in the middle of Lake Erie, is where you’ll find Glacial Grooves State Memorial—the largest easily accessible set of glacial grooves anywhere in the world. The grooves are the result of glacier movement that dates back to the Pleistocene era; the largest one is 400 feet long, 35 feet wide, and up to 10 feet deep.
6. Professional baseball was born in Cincinnati. Prior to 1869, baseball was mostly a game for amateurs. There were a handful of men who made a living playing the sport, but for the most part, it was strictly a fun side gig. Then the 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings came along with their all-star starting lineup—all nine men were paid professionals. Their expertise certainly showed. The team embarked upon a road trip later that year where they played against any town willing to put a team together. The Red Stockings won all 57 games.
7. The first-ever police car was used in Akron, Ohio, in 1899—and it was an electric car, at that. The patrol wagon could travel about 30 miles on one charge and could reach speeds up to a whopping 18 mph. Its first assignment? To pick up a drunk guy.

Mayor Gives Convention Center Tour -- Sky Arnold
Few people have sung the praises of the Music City Center quite like Mayor Karl Dean. This is the best convention center I've seen in the United States, said Dean.Dean gave reporters a tour of the new convention center Wednesday, just days before the grand opening events Sunday and Monday.Counting parking the center has 2.1 million square feet. The largest room is the 8 acre main hall. That section has four offices overlooking a space big enough for four Boeing 747s and strong enough to hang 300 cars from the ceiling.Dean says the most impressive room however is the grand ballroom. The room can fit 6,000 people and the ceiling is designed to look like you are inside a guitar.Another memorable part of the building is the roof.It has a 4 acre green space that won't be available for the public to see but it will help catch rainwater for irrigation uses and the toilets.Other highlights of the building include:* $2 million in art projects* 7 outdoor balconies* A kitchen capable of feeding more than 20,000 people a day* 32 truck docks* A Songwriters Hall of Fame* Solar panels providing power for escalators* 60 separate meeting rooms* 1800 parking spaces* A Davidson Ballroom designed for local events and weddings.Construction started on the building back in 2010.The adjacent hotel is expected to be completed in the Fall.

Perry Stone Prophecy August 28, 2019 | The Second Coming Of Christ (Rapture) Will Happen Soon!!! Please watch my latest preaching video with a prayer for healing and share. Thanks.
In 1968, a 90-year-old woman in Norway was given an incredible glimpse into the future. She was shown what life would be like just before World War 3 and the return of Jesus Christ, and what she saw is eerily similar to current conditions in our world today. When evangelist Emanuel Minos held meetings in the town of Valdres, Norway where she lived, this precious elderly lady shared what the Lord had shown to her with him. Minos wrote down what he was told, and it got put away in a drawer for 30 years. But after many of the things that she saw started to come to pass, Minos remembered the vision and decided to share it with the world. See
Record-breaking revivals, overflow crowds, thousands of people making decisions for Christ describes the ministry of International Evangelist Perry Stone.
Perry, a fourth generation minister, directs one of America’s fastest growing ministries - Voice of Evangelism. From its 70,000 square foot International Ministry Center, Voice of Evangelism is striving to reach the world with the Gospel of Christ through revivals, television, audio/video media, printed material and missionary sponsorship.
Perry, now age forty-eight, began preaching when he was just sixteen. After graduating from high school, he continued his education through Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, and later earned a B.A. in Theology from Covenant Life Christian College. Perry holds the rank of an ordained Bishop with the Church of God, (Cleveland, Tennessee). Perry has also been awarded three honorary degrees. By the age of twenty-three, Perry was conducting record-breaking revivals, some lasting up to eleven weeks. At this young age, Perry was invited to speak at Camp Meetings and conferences, some with as many as 4000-5000 in attendance. Presently, Perry continues to conduct both domestic and international crusades, reaching thousands of people annually.
During his thirty-one years of full time ministry, Perry has authored over forty books and booklets; produced over one-hundred videos and DVD’s; as well as produced hundreds of audio teaching albums series. Over the last two decades, Perry has also found time to write for and publish the magazine, The Voice of Evangelism. In the year 2000, Manna-Fest with Perry Stone, a weekly television program was launched and can be seen nationally and internationally via cable and satellite systems around the world.
He has personally traveled and ministered in over a dozen foreign nations and has placed multiple hundreds of thousands of cassette tapes, books and gospel material into the hands of the believers in nations across the world. Thousands of tapes have been sent free to the incarcerated and into the hands of the poor in third world countries. Recognized for his anointed and informative preaching, Perry has been able to breach denominational barriers and find attentive listeners from every conceivable religious background.
Although Perry’s first love is evangelism, he has distinguished himself as one of America’s foremost experts on Bible Prophecy. This recognition is not self-appointed. Perry is often featured as a keynote speaker at internationally recognized Prophecy Conferences. He has also been interviewed by nationally recognized Christian television programs, and often enters millions of homes on major Christian networks such as TBN, Daystar and INSP. Perry’s world travels and his personal contacts with diverse government and military personalities has given him a direct link to “insider information” as it relates to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
Through contacts in Israel, Perry was one of the first American ministers to confirm and publicize the search for the ashes of the Red Heifer. A decade before most Americans had ever heard of the Bible Code, Perry had not only heard of it, but had begun informing churches about this now famous phenomena. The earthquake fault line under the Mount of Olives, the huge birds of prey in the Golan and the healing of the Dead Sea are yet other examples where Perry was one of the first to present the information to the American public. Perry continues to research the ancient prophecies that are now being fulfilled in Israel and throughout the world. Perry is joined in the ministry by his wife of twenty-five years, Pam, and his two children Jonathan and Amanda.

Driving INDIANAPOLIS Downtown Indiana USA
Indigenous peoples inhabited the area dating to approximately 2000 BC. In 1818, the Delaware relinquished their tribal lands in the Treaty of St. Mary's In 1821, Indianapolis was founded as a planned city for the new seat of Indiana's state government. The city was platted by Alexander Ralston and Elias Pym Fordham on a 1-square-mile (2.6 km2) grid next to the White River. Completion of the National and Michigan roads and arrival of rail later solidified the city's position as a manufacturing and transportation hub. Two of the city's nicknames reflect its historical ties to transportation—the Crossroads of America and Railroad City Since the 1970 city-county consolidation, known as Unigov, local government administration operates under the direction of an elected 25-member city-county council headed by the mayor.
Indianapolis anchors the 27th largest economic region in the U.S., based primarily on the sectors of finance and insurance, manufacturing, professional and business services, education and health care, government, and wholesale trade. The city has notable niche markets in amateur sports and auto racing. The Fortune 500 companies of Anthem, Eli Lilly and Company, and Simon Property Group are headquartered in Indianapolis. The city has hosted many international multi-sport events, such as the 1987 Pan American Games and 2001 World Police and Fire Games, but is perhaps best known for annually hosting the world's largest single-day sporting event, the Indianapolis 500.
Indianapolis is home to two major league sports clubs, the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). It is home to a number of educational institutions, such as the University of Indianapolis, Butler University, Marian University, and Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). The city's robust philanthropic community has supported several cultural assets, including the world's largest children's museum, one of the nation's largest privately funded zoos, historic buildings and sites, and public art. The city is home to the largest collection of monuments dedicated to veterans and war casualties in the U.S. outside of Washington, D.C.

MVI 1275 - 4th of July 2016 in East Cleveland Ohio
East Cleveland Ohio U.S.A. - While other cities around the United States of America celebrate the birth of this nation things in East Cleveland are unique.
Sure EC has it's share of Barbeque grills and good music being played from Hip Hop on Scioto Ave to live blues on Emily Avenue but this is a day to shout to the whole world about how we are living in East Cleveland Ohio.
The Pièce De Résistance of the whole day is the street to street fireworks and explosion time. Some gun fire goes with the large explosions which go until about 2:00 AM EST.
Another 4th of July celebration goes on this year with very little problems for EC Police and Fire.
Oh Say Can you See?
