A Walk at Puning Temple and Puyou Temple of Chengde | 和李娜一起逛承德普宁寺普佑寺
This is the 7th video of my Chengde Trip.
In this video, we take a walk at Puning Temple and Puyou Temple.
Puning Temple is a complex of both Han Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism.
Puyou Temple is the attached Buddhism college of Puning Temple.
Here we can see an over 20 meters high wooden statue of the thousand-hands and thousand-eyes Guanyin Buddha.
The blending of the Han Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism makes a different scene.

Puning Temple Of Chengde
As of 1994, the Chengde Mountain Resort and Chengde's Eight Outer Temples (including the Puning Temple) were established as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Today, the Puning Temple remains a site of tourist attraction and local festivities.
Temple of Puyou Chengde
A Qing Dynasty Temple. Puyou Temple was a built by the Emperor Qianlong who is noted for being a prolific builder of palaces, imperial gardens and resorts.

This is the sixth video of my Chengde Tour.
I went to Xumi Fushou Temple.
It was for the sixth Panchen's visiting to Chengde, so it was also called the Panchen Palace.
Panchen Palace is also a Tibentan Style Temple Complex.
It looks like the Little Potala Palace with the similar tablet pavilion, glazed memorial arch and main buildings.
But it is smaller and less popular than the Little Potala Palace.
Most of visitors come here to see the famous golden dome with golden dragons.
But I am obsessed with the ancient painitings, carvings and ruins in it.

普宁寺位于山庄的东北部，占地33,000平方米。该寺建于1755年，是乾隆皇帝在承德建的第一座寺庙。该寺是汉式佛寺和藏式寺庙建筑艺术的结合体，其前部采用了汉式伽蓝七堂的建筑布局，即山门、碑亭、天王殿、钟鼓楼，大雄宝殿及东西配殿。后半部则按照西藏佛教的世界观概念建造，其主殿大乘之阁就是仿西藏佛教圣地三摩耶寺而建的。殿内竖立着一座世界上最大的木质佛像，因此，普宁寺又俗称大佛寺。
