Razorback Lookout Tweed Heads
Most lookouts follow a certain setup, views and fencing but this lookout your eyes are searching for the house that belongs to this garden with its manicured lawn. This small Plateau perch high above Tweed Heads with its 360 degree views is quite unique.Walking around Razorback Lookout you have panoramic views of Tweed Heads and the Gold Coast Hinterland, including Mount Warning and the Twin Peaks of Mount Cougal truly a photographer's delight!
Evans Head - Two Walks and F111 Museum
Evans Head is a great place to visit, and while we were there we did a couple of 6km walks and also visited the aviation museum the housing one of the few F111's in Australia. The First walk is between the breakwaters and then up to Razorback Lookout. The second walk is in the Dirawong Reserve and takes us out to Snapper point. Finally we take a look at the museum and find a nice surprise.

Broadwater National Park
This tract of heath and wetland forms a community comprising some of Australia’s most interesting plants. Spring creates a vivid change, with multi-coloured wildflowers carpeting the landscape. This area is also a valuable example of the evolution and dynamics of coastal landforms.
[...] The park represents a well preserved example of the large sand dunes and swales (gullies) which were formed between the ice ages, some 60 000 years ago in the Pleistocene. The ridges are mainly wind blown sands which gradually accumulated against the existing rocks, some up to 30m above sea level. The oldest rock in the area is phylite, dated at 400-450 million years old. Sandstone outcrops 4 km west at Rileys Hill are 100 million years old.
An interesting rock in the park is a formation locally known as coffee rock. Found exposed on the beach these black or brown outcrops exist at a shallow depth over most of the park. This rock is composed of sand grains cemented together by organic matter, which accumulated in the swamps and lagoons having been most likely deposited after a rise in sea level. Wave erosion has carved the rock into unusual forms with many small caves and cliffs well worth examining.

Cambanoora Gorge, Scenic Rim, Australia - Autel Evo
Flights from numerous vantage points in and around Cambanoora Gorge which is on the Condamine River.
The gorge is nestled amongst mountains such as Stump Hill (1049m) and Halls Plain (1163m) in southeast Queensland.
The Condamine River is believed to be one of the tracks used by Aborigines to traverse the range between the Darling Downs and the Logan river catchment, as it is now known. In the 1850′s timber cutters used the gorge to reach Cedar growing on the side of Mt. Superbus. When timber mills were established later at the “Head” it became the main road out for sawn timber going to the railway in Killarney.
