Spent nice 10 sunny days in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands. Awesome Staff at the René Egli station and pretty windy conditions! We were really lucky with the wind, almost every day on water!

Sotavento Lagoon Windsurf and Kitesurf Centre with Sportif Travel

Sotavento in Fuerteventura offers windsurfing holidays and kitesurfing holidays in one of the most famous venues in the world, because of its unique wind conditions and annual World Cup events. Although the second largest of the Canary Islands, Fuerteventura is the least populated. Aptly named, the literal translation of ‘fuerte' being ‘strong' and ‘ventura' describing the ‘accelerated winds'. Our windsurf and kitesurf centres are based next to the huge Sotavento lagoon. With additional windsurf and kitesurf centres at the southern end of the lagoon in Risco del Paso and on the beach in Costa Calma with excursions to Matas Blancas bay.

Am Kite und dem Surf Center von Rene Egli.
Seit 2013 steht hier im Palmenhain vom Hotel Melia Gorriones das neue Kite Center. Günstige Preise und FREIES schnelles Wlan.
Die Liegen kosten 4 € am Tag. Hawai ist ein Dreck dagegen.
Die km lange Lagune füllt sich je nach dem Mondstand mit dem Meerwasser. Hier findet man auch die Streifenhörnchen. Das Ganze ist für Jede/n frei Zugänglich. Und das Baden ist für die kleinen völlig Ungefährlich. Nur Sonnenschutz 50+ verwenden.
