AUSTRALIA East Coast #4 Road trip begins Carins + Mackay + Fraser Island
#4 Video of Australian east coast travel accompanied by niece and sister, Enjoy the views!
Road trip started with transfer car (transfer car- rental cars that need to be relocated therefore can be found for free).
First 622 km I was traveling alone on left side of the road (I wasn't driving on left side for around 8 years) therefore there were limited recorded material. Anyway for the first 150 km was raining all the time. The speed limit in Australia is usually 100 km/h and the road was full of dead kangaroo therefore I decided to purchase an insurance to a transfered car and that was the only charge beside petrol expenses.
At the end of the day I reached Airlie beach where I took my sister and niece. Later we slept by the beach in a on the Ball Bay close to Mackay where we could see lot of stars and Milky Way.
Just the before Fraser Island I have noticed that a lot of cars were coming to petrol station to drop down the air pressure in the wheels to drive on the sand.
Finally we reached Fraser Island where I could say is honestly the SAND PARADISE. We were on a organized day trip by Thank you!

Ipswich first began with the exploration of the Bremer River in 1826 by Captain Patrick Logan, the then commandant of the convict settlement at Brisbane. He discovered hills of limestone along the banks of the Bremer, and a short time later, sent an overseer and several convicts to quarry limestone and to build a lime-burning kiln. This settlement was called Limestone.

In 1863 Ipswich became home to the famous Ipswich Grammar; Queensland's first secondary school and only 2 years later in 1865 Queensland's first railway line was completed between Ipswich and Grandchester which is why Ipswich has a very important and historical railway museum; well worth a visit.
In 1904 the town of Ipswich was declared a city and then in 1959 Goodna became part of Ipswich extending the boundaries to create one of the largest city areas in the world.
