MTB A free-riders paradise | Black Rock Mountain Bike Area Oregon
Went out to Black Rock in Oregon today to film some friends mountain biking. Enjoy. The Black Rock trail system is located outside Falls City, southwest of Salem. Designated as an IMBA Epic Ride by the International Mountain Bicycling Association, Black Rock consists of smooth terrain bolstered by extensive human-built wooden features, including skinnies, ladders and jumps. You’ll also encounter big gaps, berms and drops in this free-rider’s paradise.
I recommend having previous mountain biking experience, as all the terrain is rated for intermediate to extreme skill levels. If you’ve ridden before but aren’t super-comfortable with free-riding and human-built features, the Basic Training area can help you get acquainted — and if you get stuck on the mountain, all trails have ride-around routes to help you get down safely. (But before you ride down, you may want to camp out for a while — Black Rock has great spots in the woods where spectators can watch skilled riders hit the massive features.)

RIDGELINE MTB TRAIL NORTH CAROLINA RAW with Austin Graham
Austin Graham riding The Ridgeline Trail in Dupont Forest, West North Carolina. The trail flows amazing and anyone can ride it and have fun, no matter what skill level they are. Its full of jumps, berms, and is basically a bike rollercoaster. Austin Graham hiked up it, and went full Downhill mode down, jumping everything, with the raw sound of nature in the background.

Drone Spencer Butte Eugene OR Music Video
This is a great hiking trail and the view is definitely rewarding. On this particular mission I nearly lost my drone as I pushed it through the canopy like an idiot where the winds pulled it slightly out of view causing me to lose track of the location. I could've turned remote off and have the drone go home but home would've absolutely cause a crash since the trees were easily a hundred or more feet up and there's was no opening back through the canopy. I did however get lucky and was able to visually locate it and bring it down after panicking fairly hard knowing what it was worth working versus smashed.
Spencer Butte is a prominent landmark in Lane County, Oregon, United States, described in the National Geodetic Survey as a prominent timbered butte with a bare rocky summit on the southern edge of Eugene, with an elevation of 2,058 feet (627 m).[1] Spencer Butte is accessible from Spencer Butte Park and has several hiking trails to the summit.[2] The tree cover on the butte is predominantly Douglas-fir, however the butte is treeless at its summit. The butte is the tallest point visible when looking south from downtown Eugene.
I'm using a DJI Phantom 2 a Zenmuse h3 2d gimbal and no FPV monitor. I later acquired a monitor for FPV and played around with a FUTUBA remote while DJI software was working out the smooth operation of the gimbal sensitivity. The videos take place on my trips in and around Portland, Corvallis, Eugene, and Roseburg, Oregon. Patreon Patreon.com/garthvapor

Hiking the South Willamette Trail
Hiking the South Willamette Trail-
On January 21, 2017 I hiked the South Willamette Trail which is a lengthy trail 24 miles from Eugene, connecting the Hardesty trailhead with the Eula Ridge trailhead. It is a beautiful hike with some slight elevation undulation and many creek crossings. In the early summer you can see rhododendrons blooming.

Tidbits Mountain With Views Of Entire Oregon
Tidbits Mountain With Views Of Entire Oregon-
On July 30, 2017 my husband, sister in-law and my 6 year old niece hiked up Tidbits Mountain. This is an easy 3.75 mile hike with 1,124 ft. elevation gain. This is one of the best views of the Cascade mountains that you can get only about 65 miles from Eugene!

Oakridge Mountain Biking Oregon Willamette National Forest Trails
Six of us went to Oakridge, Oregon. They called it The Mountain Bike Capital of The Pacific Northwest.
It's a small town along Hwy 58 in Central Oregon. It's really small town, people know each other really well. The next biggest city is Eugene.
We paid $250 each through Mountain Bike Oregon / MBO, includes one day shuttle which are five to six trails a day with total 20.000 feet decent.
The trail itself located at Willamette National Forest.

Alsea Falls Shuttle Day POV - Bikes and Beers!
Team Dirt hosted an incredible shuttle day last weekend to raise money for their amazing trail system!
Check out their brand new trail Misery Whip, a fast flowy berm and jump filled ripper. This was the opening day of the trail and it was running a bit slow but with time it will only get better!
Enjoy and give Team Dirt a follow on Facebook for more information on their trail systems!
Until next time.
