Battle Born North Nevada Adventure Motorcycle Ride | RM Rides Day 1
Over the last three years, we’ve put together an adventure route in the Nevada desert that shows the varied beauty the state has to offer. To make it more manageable, we’ve split it up into more than one ride. This is the north part of it – a route that travels past old mining communities, out to Battle Mountain, up to the Idaho border and back down to the Bonneville Salt Flats. It takes your breath away on multiple occasions. We call it the Battle Born North ride after Nevada’s nickname: the “Battle Born State.”
As part of our RM Rides series, we’ve documented the ride and put it together in a video series and companion blog post, making it easy for you to plan your own Battle Born North adventure with your friends. We’ve provided the GPS files below so you can follow our same route.

Big Rocky Mountain Animals!
Over the years of filming my show I have gotten lots of videos and pictures of animals I wasn't necessary hunting. I've always wanted to share them with you, but never found the right episode to put them in. After filming the giant elk at the end, I decided to put all my footage of these amazing, beautiful animals together for its own episode! I had so much fun getting these clips, I hope you find them enjoyable too!
(P.S. Some of this footage was before I had nice cameras and HD quality videos. Specifically filming the wolves. You can still see them fine its just not as crisp as all my other footage.)
Thank you so much to everyone who watches this videos!! We're so grateful to everyone who watches and for all the positive support. We LOVE hearing for you guys! Our goal with putting these videos online was to encourage everyone to get outside and explore their backyards. If you can't explore your own backyard, we hope by watching these videos you'll feel like you're right along with us.

Welcome to Park City
Known for its charm and world class skiing, Park City, Utah is a small resort town nestled in the middle of the mighty Wasatch range in the Rocky Mountains.
Home to renowned ski resorts and the Sundance Film Festival, it’s no wonder Park City was named by Outside Magazine as 'The Best Town in America.' Main Street is heart of Park City, with numerous award-winning restaurants, boutiques, and art galleries, it’s not to be missed.
Mountain living is about hiking, skiing, being outdoors, and living life. In addition to its numerous recreational and cultural offerings, Park City boasts one of the best school and library systems in the state.
From the iconic White Barn to PC hill, we love where we live. You can too.

Utah Obscura, May 2015, Part 1
In mid-2014 a few of us brainstormed a reprise of some of our past travels through the incredible remote and wild areas of southern Utah. As time passed we added some new areas to explore, most notably the Maze District of Canyonlands National Park. A total of four adventurers, Matt and Chris from Texas, Ray from Washington (state), and Mark from Oklahoma, would make this ten day trip. Venues would include Goosenecks State Park, Garden of the Gods, Moki Dugway Switchbacks, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Orange Cliffs, The Maze District of Canyonlands National Park, Goblin Valley State Park, Cathedral Valley of Capitol Reef National Park, Smoky Mountain Road (shortened, again due to weather), Bryce Canyon, and Lake Powell. Great Western ATV Trail on the Fishlake National Forest in Utah
The Great Western Trail is a trail system that extends from Canada to Mexico. This video highlights a small section of the Great Western Trail starting at Riley Springs Trailhead, which is just above the town of Fremont, Utah. The Trail passes by the Elkhorn campground, then it travels onto the East end of Thousand Lake Mountain. The trail provides views of Capital Reef National Park, Cathedral Valley, and the Henry Mountains.
The trail continues off the South side of Thousand Lake Mountain, descending into the town of Torrey, and ends up at the Bicknell Bottoms trailhead. This section of trail is open to vehicles 50 inches or less in width, so ATVs and some smaller side-by-sides can be on the trail. Pick up a free travel map at any Ranger District office on the Fishlake National Forest. For this section of trail, you should plan for about a full day, including the shuttle and the ride.

Fly Fishing in Utah - Guided Trips near Salt Lake & Park City on the Provo River
- Located within a stones throw of Park City, Utah in the Heber Valley. Rocky Mountain Outfitters provides a blue ribbon fishing experience on both the Provo and Weber rivers. As an Orvis endorsed guide service, our guides have the experience, knowledge, and expertise to guide you through some of the most exciting and enjoyable fly fishing water in the Western United States. On the Provo River, you'll encounter big numbers of trout that commonly approach trophy status in size and beauty as this blue ribbon river winds through amazing scenery. On the Weber River, you'll be presented with a smaller stream that is packed full of trout that are eager to rise to a dry fly or strike at a drifting nymph pattern. Both the Provo and Weber Rivers provide fast action, and our fly fishing guides will ensure that your day out on either river is truly a special one. Besides these two main rivers that are located within an hour of landing at the Salt Lake City International airport, there are some other incredible streams and rivers that are remote and provide great opportunities for site fishing, smaller streams, and remote water. Contact us to find out how to book your guided fly fishing trip with Rocky Mountain Outfitters.

WOW Trail | MTB in Midway Ut
WOW Trail, otherwise known as Wasatch Over Wasatch Trail is an awesome out and back trail starting in Midway Utah and going up, almost to guardsman pass above Park City and Little Cottonwood canyon then back. This is also a perfect shuttle trail as there is a road that crosses WOW Trail in 2 places, at the bottom and the top.
We shuttled it this day as we didn't really have time to climb the 10.8 miles and 3000 veritcal as we were racing the sunset .
When coming down you have to pedal quite a bit to maintain speed as it has a lot of switchbacks, this is good because it is a bidirectional trail (looks like a fun climb!). Be aware of oncoming traffic while descending and yield to uphill riders, hikers etc.
This trail is a little sketchy in a few spots, you can see in this video that there is a tree that can clothesline you if you happen to be jumping in the wrong spot. I didn't fall or hit my head thankfully.
