39 Royal Rouge Trail, Toronto - Open House Video Tour
A stunning 4+1 bedroom home situated within Toronto’s Rouge neighbourhood, welcome to 39 Royal Rouge Trail.
Lovingly landscaped with a magnolia, Japanese maple, and evergreen trees, as well as perennial gardens - the front yard also showcases extensive interlocking with the driveway, the front walkway, and the side walkway leading to the backyard patio area.
Through the double front entry doors is a spacious porcelain-tiled foyer and reception area, where an oak staircase with wrought iron spindles curves gracefully to the upper level - and the porcelain tiles continue to flow into the kitchen area, as well as into the powder and laundry rooms.
Oak hardwood floors gleam in the open-themed living and dining rooms. Elegant entertaining spaces decorated with a fresh, neutral colour palette - an abundance of natural lighting enhances the airiness of these rooms. A set of French doors between them offers semi-privacy when needed, and both spaces are beautifully finished with crown moldings - which can also be found throughout the foyer area and in the family room.
Bright and open, the kitchen has a greenhouse-style breakfast area with a sliding door walk-out onto an interlocking patio area in the fully fenced backyard, and in addition to the natural lighting - pot, pendant and flush mount lighting brighten the space. A great working area with light and dark colour contrasts, the kitchen additionally showcases a stainless steel double under mount sink, granite counters, a tiled back splash, lots of cabinetry storage, and appliances - while complementing the storage and utility space is a large wall pantry as well as a built-in computer desk.
This level has a wonderful ease-of-flow throughout, with principal rooms well-suited for large scale gatherings, or for more intimate get-togethers, and the family room is no exception. Finished with hardwood flooring, this naturally bright casual entertaining space overlooks the backyard, and is centred around a fireplace with floor-to-ceiling stone surround and an accent mirror above its mantle.
Completing the main level is a powder room beautifully appointed with a glass pedestal sink and a co-ordinating mirror; as well as a laundry room with front load washer and dryer, a porcelain-tiled accent wall, a shower area, access to the garage, and a side door entry for access to the front and back yards.
The upper level features four graciously sized bedrooms, two washrooms, and two skylights - one which is above the staircase - as well as quality laminate flooring throughout. The second, third, and fourth bedrooms all have double closets and plenty of natural lighting - and share a 3-pc main washroom finished with a porcelain-tiled floor, a vanity with a marble counter, a skylight, and a porcelain-tiled glass shower with stone floor.
The master suite is a luxuriously sized personal space - and showcases a separate sitting area with backyard views, while five oversized windows and their southwesterly exposure fill the entire room with an abundance of natural light. Off a short hall is the walk-in closet, and a make-up vanity with a marble counter - and the hall leads into the lovely spa-like ensuite washroom, which showcases ceramic finishes throughout, toilet and bidet, a soaker tub, as well as a vanity with a marble counter, a porcelain basin, and matching faucet.
The lower level landing and its side hallway are finished with granite tiles, and off this area is a 2-pc washroom with a pedestal sink; and plenty of storage space, including a cold room as well as a pantry area. An ideal theatre room, the huge recreation area has gorgeous hardwood flooring and is brightened with pot lighting - and from here is access to a spacious workout room, as well as this home’s fifth bedroom, which has hardwood flooring and pot lights, and is also ideal as a private home office. The workout room can also be accessed from the lower landing’s side hallway, and after a long day, this level also has a sauna room for relaxation and stress relief.
Immediately north of this neighbourhood is Rouge National Urban Park - and this wonderful family home is also just a short walk to the Royal Rouge Tot Lot and Tallpines Park, Rouge Valley Public School, TTC service, and the Villages of Abbey Lane shopping plaza; while the Toronto Zoo, the Glen Rouge Campground, the Rouge Hill GO Station, and access to Hwy 401 are all short drives away.

My walk around Union Station, Front, PATH, Chelsea hotel, College Park and more! (4k Toronto video)
My walk around downtown Toronto starting off at Union Station during rush hour, walking west on Front St, and checking out the PATH, King, John, Richmond, Chelsea hotel, College Park, and much more!
This was a fairly nice day for this Toronto 4k video walk, considering it was in January. Normally you'd see temperatures in the minus C, but on this day it was just barely above freezing, however when the wind gusted, it was cold.

Wikipedia
Buckingham Palace is the London residence and administrative headquarters of the monarch of the United Kingdom. Located in the City of Westminster, the palace is often at the centre of state occasions and royal hospitality. It has been a focal point for the British people at times of national rejoicing and mourning.
Originally known as Buckingham House, the building at the core of today's palace was a large townhouse built for the Duke of Buckingham in 1703 on a site that had been in private ownership for at least 150 years. It was acquired by King George III in 1761 as a private residence for Queen Charlotte and became known as The Queen's House. During the 19th century it was enlarged, principally by architects John Nash and Edward Blore, who constructed three wings around a central courtyard. Buckingham Palace became the London residence of the British monarch on the accession of Queen Victoria in 1837.
The last major structural additions were made in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including the East Front, which contains the well-known balcony on which the royal family traditionally congregates to greet crowds. A German bomb destroyed the palace chapel during World War II; the Queen's Gallery was built on the site and opened to the public in 1962 to exhibit works of art from the Royal Collection.
The original early 19th-century interior designs, many of which survive, include widespread use of brightly coloured scagliola and blue and pink lapis, on the advice of Sir Charles Long. King Edward VII oversaw a partial redecoration in a Belle Époque cream and gold colour scheme. Many smaller reception rooms are furnished in the Chinese regency style with furniture and fittings brought from the Royal Pavilion at Brighton and from Carlton House. The palace has 775 rooms, and the garden is the largest private garden in London. The state rooms, used for official and state entertaining, are open to the public each year for most of August and September and on some days in winter and spring.

MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS - Official Trailer [HD] - In Theaters December
A friendship that became a rivalry. A rivalry that became a war. Watch Saoirse Ronan and Margot Robbie in the new trailer for #MaryQueenofScots.
Mary Queen of Scots explores the turbulent life of the charismatic Mary Stuart (Ronan). Queen of France at 16 and widowed at 18, Mary defies pressure to remarry. Instead, she returns to her native Scotland to reclaim her rightful throne. But Scotland and England fall under the rule of the compelling Elizabeth I (Robbie). Each young Queen beholds her “sister” in fear and fascination. Rivals in power and in love, and female regents in a masculine world, the two must decide how to play the game of marriage versus independence. Determined to rule as much more than a figurehead, Mary asserts her claim to the English throne, threatening Elizabeth’s sovereignty. Betrayal, rebellion, and conspiracies within each court imperil both thrones – and change the course of history.
