Courtney and I eat at a great galbi restaurant after a long rainy day exploring southern Jeju island. We were so tired and quiet. Luckily, a large group of Korean businessmen were continually giving long speeches and kicking back shots behind us. And the atmosphere of this place was amazing.

Courtney and I go searching for the Jeju specialty, galchi. Galchi is a long skinny silver fish that dies as soon as it is caught. So, it is very rare to find this fish to eat anywhere, let alone fresh enough to be consumed raw. But Jeju is known for serving this fish in many ways, including raw. Courtney and I eat the raw galchi, only available on Jeju Island, and discuss the upcoming Gilmore Girls season.

[KOREA 2019] Jeju Days 4 & 5 - Exploring eastern Seogwipo & Jeju City
Hey everyone!
Welcome to the series: Travel in Two SQUARED
In Travel in Two Squared, I travelled to Korea with 3 of my best friends!
We spend a total of 15 days in Korea, starting off by staying in Seogwipo, Jeju Island and then had the remainder of the trip in Seoul.
This video is a collation of our short videos of some of the highlights from days 4 and 5 for us in Jeju. On day 4 we visited Cheonjiyeon waterfall and Saeseom island (bird island) and on day 5 we visited the capitol of Jeju, Jeju City, where we visited the Jeju Mokgwana and did some shopping.

Saeseom Island (Jeju)
Saeyeongyo Bridge is the longest pedestrian overpass created in the southern-most area of the country. The bridge, inspired by ‘Tewu’ (Jeju's traditional log boat), was opened in September 2009, and connects Seogwipo Port and Birds Island. The overpass is the first single cable-stayed bridge ever created in Korea. The bridge has a major tower inspired by the wind and a sail and flamboyant LED lights.
With the creation of the bridge, it has become much easier for people to travel to Birds Island, which features the island's ecosystem designated as a warm temperate forest conservation zone. The island also has diverse convenience and leisure facilities such as a 1.2km walking path, a public square, wooden deck road, pebble road, forest walking path and theme photo zone.

Courtney and I took a trip south to enjoy some fresh, bamboo-filtered air in Damyang. Of course, we had to seek out some special places for food while we were there. Lukily, our host made a reservation for us at 대가 - 생선구이 for our arrival.

Jeongbang Waterfall Seogwipo Jeju Island
Jeongbang Waterfall in Seogwipo on Jeju Island is the only waterfall in Asia that falls directly into the sea. A beautiful waterfall down timber stairs with lots of large rocks to clamber over. You can even walk in behind the falls themselves. Background music is Pachabelly by Huma Huma.

Dad’s first time EVER to JEJU!
Timmy's Dad is back in Korea for his first visit since the TV show My first time to Korea. His first week was spent cycling across the peninsula with One Mile Closer, but his second week was just as energetic!
Come and watch us as we see the sights of Seoul and then jet off to the island paradise -Jeju!
He thought he was here for a gentle excursion, but after coming down Hallasan, Dad could barely walk. Did we overdo it? I think so. Sorry, Pops!
