This island is beautiful although it's not that big. Not that far from Kota Kinabalu (i think it's around 1-2km from the mainland). You guys can do snorkeling too.

KOTA KINABALU, MALAYSIAN BORNEO | WHAT TO DO IN A DAY (SAPI ISLAND)
Kota Kinabalu, the gateway to Malaysian Borneo. Yeah, I was confused too about this region of the world! Borneo is split into 3 countries, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei...and Borneo itself is known as one place as a whole even though it's technically 3 different countries that all share the same big island.
Now that that's over, we can get down to what you can do in Kota Kinabalu. In all honesty, I had absolutely no clue what I was going to do there - I wanted to do some rainforest exploration and take in some nature, but when I landed in KK I quickly realised that there actually isn't that much going on here except for a few islands...all the cool stuff online was in Sepilok so I kinda felt like being here was a bit of a waste of time at first.
Luckily, with the help of my friend we went walking along the harbour and found a boat to take us to some nearby islands - one of which is a tiny place called Sapi Island. It was beautiful, I had an awesome time and I hope you get a few ideas of what you can do in KK by watching this video!

Island Hopping Tour in KOTA KINABALU | Malaysia (Borneo) - 4K Travel Vlog
We went island hopping in Kota Kinabalu (Sabah) which is a Malaysian state situated on the coast of Borneo. These islands are collectively known as the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine parks and consist of 5 islands : Gaya, Manukan, Sapi, Mamutik and Sulug. Pulau Sapi Island in Sabah, one of the five islands that make up the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and is just a 15 minute boat ride from the city of Kota Kinabalu.
This is one of the most beautiful islands around here and is smaller than Pulau Manukan but the crowd here is much less compared to the neighbouring islands. If you are planning on visiting any of these islands while in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, I would easily recommend Pulau Sapi anytime.
Pulau Sapi is easily accessible from Kota Kinabalu via two places. One would be taking the hourly ferry from Jesselton Pier while the other way getting to Sapi Island is from Sutera Harbor. Both offer about the same time to the island while Jesselton may be a little cheaper.

Sapi Island Kota Kinabalu is only 7 km away from the main city of KK in Sabah and a 15 to 20 mins boat ride will take you to the island. The island is a famous tourist spot in Kota Kinabalu as it features crystal clear water, sandy beaches, rich marine life, coral reef, water based sport & activities. Pulau Sapi is also a preferred destination if you opt for Kota Kinabalu Island Hopping activity.

1，Mai沒有跟我一起潛水，因為係練習階段佢唔能夠好好利用呼吸器，基於安全理由佢只好放棄
2，呼吸器會入水是正常情況，入水的時候需要大力用口噴氣將水噴出去
3，我在呼吸器入水的時候剛好在吸氣，所以同時間將海水吞了，令到我一時間透不到氣
4，影片中我不時用手捏住鼻，是因為要適應水壓
5，影片out focus因為我camera setting錯左，事後先發現....
