INTRODUCTION
The Sarzora lake is situated about 8 km away from margao on the NH 17 in the tiny village of Sarzora. To reach it one has to take a left at Sarzora. The road ahead is quite small and devoid of landmarks so one will have to ask the locals the way.The lake is man made and the water is stored and used for irrigation purposes.
It is surrounded by forest on 2 sides where a variety of birds can be seen and heard.In fact this reviewer was lucky enough to see a number of peacocks when he visited.There are lush paddy fields surrounding one side of the lake making it extremely picturesque.
It's a great place to relax for an hour or two.

If you’re looking for an adventurous place in Goa, than here it is!!!!!! ????♀️???? Sarzora Lake, in South Goa, approximately 1hr 20 minutes drive from Panjim.
This lake is surrounded by amazing mountains ????⛰and fields on the other side. It is quite a secluded location, breathtaking sight, so so peaceful, a little paradise. As you gaze at the clouds on the mountains for a magnificent view, you hear the peacocks cry & many other birds chirping, different species of wild flowers and on the other side you will suddenly hear a train passing by through the fields, it’s such an awesome feeling.
We, our family as adventure lovers, thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
