Climbing The Highest Mountain In England | Scafell Pike And The Corridor Route
We climbed up onto Scafell Pike started from Wasdale head, following the stream up before making our way up the screes towards Mickeldoor. The views at the top were quite hazy but it was still a fun day out.
We went down via the corridor route to get different views on the way down before ending in the pub at Wasdale head inn, a proper day out in the Lake District

We decided to hike to the summit of Scafell Pike via the corridor route before finishing off with a quick swim. Hiking Scafell Pike highest mountain in England
Nice hiking in the Lake District National Park in north England. We hit highest point in England, the Scafell Pike 978m. The route usually is not hard, but because of severe conditions at the top, it was challenging. At the top the camera was freezing straight away because of the mist, strong wind and air temperature -12 Celsius.

As a preparation to Kilimanjaro Challange we climbed the highest England's Mountain last week. Scafell Pike is at an elevation of 978 m, It is located in the Lake District National Park, in Cumbria, and is part of the Southern Fells.

This cinematic hike to Scafell Pike connecting the Wasdale and Corridor Route is enough to get you inspired for a fantastic winter walk.
See the summit peppered in the snow with brilliant views from the drone following my ascent from the Wasdale Head car park, all the way to the peak before switching back down the Corridor route where I missed the white arrows showing the way.
There wasn't snow forecast in the weather report, but it fell the night before, which in April it isn't too uncommon for this to happen. It made it a little difficult to film the documentary of this incredibly beautiful part of the Lake District National Park.
