Schnepf Farms Review in Queen Creek AZ | My reviews from Schnepf Farms
Reviews of my experience at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek, AZ.
Our family has been going to Schnepf Farm since about 2007 and have really enjoyed our visits, especially the peach festival for picking some of the best peaches every year.
We normally visit 3-4 times during the peach season to get our fill of the fresh peaches and visit the upick gardens regularly during the season to get veggies and greens since we enjoy fresh salads. There is nothing like picking lettuce and vegetables fresh from the garden and enjoying them that evening - nothing! The taste is wonderful - actually tastes like real food that you can enjoy and appreciate.
Carrie, Mark, the Schnepf Farms staff and extended families have always treated us like family, with a smile on their face and sharing a laugh or two.
Wanted to share our experience and if you haven't visited the farm, maybe we'll see you there sometime soon :)
Enjoy!
Mark

Queen Creek Arizona History - Part 2
Join me as I discover important Landmarks in the Town of Queen Creek Arizona. San Tan Historical Society Museum, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Schnepf Farms, First Baptist Church Of Queen Creek, Site of the Railroad Water Tank, Gold Mine, Mansel Carter and Marion Kennedy resting place, San Tan Mountain Regional Park and Arizona Boys Ranch.
Gold Mine - a short hike from south Ellsworth Road will take you to the entrance of what used to be a 200 foot tunnel, now sealed for safety.
Mansel Carter - came to the Queen Creek area in 1948 with his prospecting buddy, Marion Kennedy. They set up camp about 5 miles south of town in what is currently san tan mountain regional park. They never struck it rich, but they lived the life they wanted.
Arizona Boys Ranch grow out of the conviction that homeless boys should have an opportunity of home, school, and community regardless of race, color, or creed.
Schnepf Farms - Located five miles southeast of town, the area was purchased by Jack and Maude Schnepf in 1941. Their oldest son Raymond and his wife Thora were newly married, and they moved to what was called the home place while the rest of the family continued to live in Mesa.
First Baptist church of Queen Creek - The church located on Ocotillo Road east of Ellsworth Road, built in 1946 through a community effort.
Railroad Water Tank - There were three sidings (short railroad tracks connected with the main tracks) in Queen Creek area. The water tower, with a well and pump underneath, was located on one siding near Schnepf Farms.
Our Lady of Guadalupe - The first Catholic Church building in Queen Creek is located on the north side of Ocotillo, 3/8 mile west of Ellsworth Road. It's the two narrow stained glass windows that may have first attracted your attention as you passed by the weathered building across from Our Lady of Guadalupe in recent years.
