We went on the most amazing experience with Ocean Eco Adventures, these guys really knew how to put on a day on the water. All the hot spots for the reefs marine life and having their own plane for spotting made it so much better, highly recommend going with these guys.

Exmouth Diving Centre and the Ningaloo Reef
We spent a day out scuba diving the Ningaloo Reef with Exmouth Diving centre.
The dive centre is based behind the Potshot Hotel and the group of divers meet here for the brief and to get kitted up with equipment.
Our dive site for the day was the Murion Islands and it was about a 45 min trip out there. Keep your eye out along the way because during whale season you can often be lucky enough to see humpbacks swimming by.
Out at the Murion Islands we go the chance to dive 2 of their sites. It was quite turbulent dueing our time there as we were there straight after the cyclone that hit Perth and it had stirred the waters up and were still affecting the site, however it was easy to see what a stunning dive site this was. The corals were incredibly colourful and there was a large school of glass fish there that created a stunning effect.
The visibility at the Murion Islands is generally about 10m and the maximum dive depth is 20m so it is a great dive site for all levels of divers. There are also fantastic swim throughs that give a great sense of adventure during the dive.

Swimming with Whale Sharks at Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia
In 2012 we were lucky enough to go swimming with the Whale Sharks at Ningaloo Reef out of Exmouth in Western Australia. It is one of the best things I think I've done so far and wanted to share it with you.
Scuba Diving Navy Pier at Ningaloo Reef Exmouth Western Australia
Navy Pier is located on the tip of Exmouth's peninsula on navel land. It once served as the port for the US military who once operated the low frequency submarine communication system, which is now operated by Australian federal police.
Though not the greatest of visibility on our dive (about 10m max) it was still very much a great experience at one of Australia's top dive sites. Plenty of life to see including nudibranch's, eels, lion fish, white tipped sharks and of course the BFC (the Big Friendly Cod)
Filmed using a Black GoPro Hero3 without filter due to low/poor light conditions.

Spearfishing Exmouth - Diving Ningaloo
Ben Knight from Exmouth Sportfishing Charters got himself a new Yamaha 150 after his last engine decided to call it a day and it needed running in. What better way to run it in than a trip to the Muirons Islands off Exmouth.
Ningaloo Reef Whale Sharks, Exmouth, Western Australia
Whale Sharks migrate to Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia (WA) every year, giving visitors to Exmouth a once-in-a-lifetime swim with the largest fish in the world's oceans.
This is one of few places on Earth where these gentle giants come so close to shore, and in July 2013 Tourism Western Australia joined Hans and his wife on a Ningaloo whale shark tour from Exmouth WA to share this truly humbling encounter.
These harmless filter feeders can grow up to 16 metres (52.5 feet) in length, with a mouth spanning over a metre -- an awe-inspiring sight that Hans could only describe as one of the greatest experiences of his life. Their visit also brought Hans and his wife face-to-fin with other incredible marine life of World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef -- the largest fringing reef on Earth.
In striking contrast, a cruise through the rugged red gorge of Yardi Creek in Cape Range National Park, offered a chance to relax and enjoy the stillness and natural beauty of Exmouth, and to spot a hopping rock wallaby or two.
From mid-March to late July, visitors can experience the thrill of swimming with whale sharks at Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, with daily whale shark tours operating from Exmouth WA.
Visit to find out more.

Snorkelling at Turquoise Bay Reef in Ningaloo National Park, Exmouth Western Australia
Turquoise Bay is one of the possible snorkelling locations at Ningaloo National Park. It's located close to the well-known Drift snorkel area, but is much more protected and is, in my opinion, one of the best snorkel spots in Ningaloo National Park as well as a great swimming spot for all ages.
