I think the thing that really struck us was this is just one guy who is passionate about saving turtles. He never pushed us to donate or made us feel badly, he just clearly was a turtle lover trying to do his part to make the world a better place. In the eight years he has been doing this, he reckons he has released about 25,000 babies or rehabbed turtles back into the wild. You should definitely go check him out, see his gorgeous turtles and thank him for his impact on Sri Lankan marine life. VISIT FOR MORE INFORMATION!!!

We went to the Turtle Hatchery a few km outside Galle and helped the newly hatched turtles into their new home.
