This is some video footage of my first restaurant taken one evening when my mother shows up with a digital video camera and I had a party of sixty. The song playing is the one I played over the sound system while I worked alone in the evenings prepping food for the next days business. It was three years of twelve hour days 364 days a year. I bought myself a job that ended shortly after September 11, 2001. Business came to a halt and gasoline shot up to 5.00 a gallon in Terre Haute, IN. I bought this place when I was twenty-five.

The campus police at St. Thomas University is a stepping stone for many students who want to become RCMP officers. It's also a way to give back to the campus community. But when many hear about campus police, they think of small paper notes under the windshields of their cars. Yet, the campus police at St. Thomas University does much more than giving out parking tickets.
