The Rozhen Monastery of the Nativity of the Mother of God (Bulgarian: Роженски манастир Рождество Богородично) is the biggest monastery in the Pirin Mountains in southwestern Bulgaria. It is one of the few medieval Bulgarian monasteries well preserved until today.
Melnik (Bulgarian: Мелник) is a town in Blagoevgrad Province, southwestern Bulgaria, in the southwestern Pirin Mountains. The town is an architectural reserve and 96 of its buildings are cultural monuments. With a population of 385, it is the smallest town in Bulgaria, retaining its city status today for historical reasons.

Построена в пазвите на Стара Планина, избата съчетава най-добрите условия за създаване на уникални вина. Технологичното оборудване е произведено специално за избата в съответствие с класическата технология за червени и бели вина. Капацитетът е 60 000 бутилки годишно. Технологията предвижда купажиране на червените вина, и то така, че да се подчертае най-доброто за всеки сорт, и заедно с това сортовете да се допълват. Вината отлежават от 4 до 24 месеца в дъбови бъчви преди бутилиране.
