Born and raised in Tokyo’s Ota ward, Rieco Komiya began practicing pen art three years ago just by coincidence. At the time, Rieco was looking for an India-inspired design for her new business cards. Being fond of mehndi, or henna art, she decided to grab a pen and draw her own design to use as her logo. Little did she know that this was the first step in launching a new career as an artist and establishing her original Riku Art.

Nippon Kendo Kata-Enbu（demonstration） was performed at Nakamura Sprots Center, Nagoya as a part of the Enbu during the 13th All Japan Kendo 8-dan Tournament on 19 April 2015.

日本剣道形とは
1912年（大正元年）大日本武徳会によって制定された「大日本帝国剣道形」のこと。この形は、竹刀打ちの稽古方式からくる手の 内の乱れや、体の崩れ、あるいは刃筋を無視した打突を矯正するためなど、教育手段としてつくられたものです。
太刀の形７本、小太刀の形３本で構成されている。戦後は、これを「日本剣道形」と称して実施している。今日行われている日本剣道 形は、１９８１年（昭和５６年）に全日本剣道連盟によって付された「日本剣道形解説」にもとづいて普及がはかられています。
Nippon Kendo Kata
Refers to the Dai Nippon Teikoku Kendo Kata which were established in 1912 (Taisho 1) by the Dai Nippon Butoku-kai. These kata were created as an instructional measure to correct grip (te-no-uchi) problems arising from practicing with a shinai, loss of form, and the neglecting of the position of the blade (ha-suji) during a strike. Included are seven kata for tachi and three kata for ko-dachi (short sword). After the war (WWII), these kata were put into use under the name NIppon Kendo Kata. The NIppon Kendo Kata being used today are practiced and promoted based on the Nippon Kendo Kata Kaisetsu (explanation) which was prepared in 1981 (Showa 56) by the All Japan Kendo Federation.

★Synopsis
This is a saga depicting the law of the jungle and the relationship between humans and animals, with Panja the white lion and his son Leo as the main characters. As this was the first full-color animated TV program in Japan, the coloring process was done by trial and error. For the music, a solemn symphony was prepared right from the beginning, so that it could also be used for the theatrical version. (Japanese animated films still tend to have bigger budgets for music compared to camera-shot films, and the reason behind this is the success of Jungle Emperor Leo. However, most films have not been able to copy this Hollywood style of recording, in which an orchestra plays while viewing the film as in Jungle Emperor Leo.) It is well known that when Tezuka Osamu went to the U.S. to promote the film, the U.S. staff was astonished to hear such solemn music. This film was put on the air with the title Kimba, the White Lion, and became very popular.
