Silver Strand est une superbe plage de sable fin située à proximité de Killadoon. Elle est considérée comme une des plus belles plages d'Irlande.
Elle est entourée de montagnes et de hautes dunes de sable. Elle est très populaire auprès des familles.
A partir du stationnement, il faut marcher sur plusieurs centaines de mètres dans le sable doux pour se rendre jusqu'à la mer.
Cet endroit permet d'avoir une magnifique vue des îles Inishtruk, Inishbofin et Clare.
Nous n'avons pas assisté au coucher de soleil sur la baie de Clew. Cependant, il semblerait que c'est l'endroit idéal pour le regarder.

Let's travel to the marvellous Silver Strand - An Trá Bhán. A lonely road brings us to Malin Beg, a small village not far from the sacred landscape of Glencolmcille in Donegal. Huge hills protect this horse-shoe shaped beach from cold winds.I returned to this beach for two or three days, seeking it's warmth and the wide sea view.
