DUBLIN CITY BUS TOURS - Get Around Dublin, Ireland
Do you want to explore Dublin city and know about the top attractions of it? The city bus tours in Dublin - hop on hop off bus tours - will serve those who don't have time to go around the city as well as those who want to wander around and see as much of the place as possible.
Every city has the bus tour that will serve the tourists to simply get around the place, getting as much of its history and buildings as possible, and even get down in the places that attract them the most then get back up after walking a little bit.
Dublin city bus tours will take you around the city and pass by some of the most important landmarks of the place, such as the Four Courts that is located along the River Liffey ( Trinity College and Museum ( Christ Church Cathedral ( driving through O'Connell Street which is one of the most famous in Dublin ( the Mansion House which is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of Dublin ( Guinness Storehouse which is one of the most famous beer brands all around the world and the oldest as well ( and Leinster House which is the Parliament of Dublin (
Is is worth it to go on the hop on hop off bus tour? Like any other thing in your travelling experience, there are the negatives and the positives. Taking one of those Dublin city bus tours will give you the chance to check different parts of the city which you didn't even consider visiting because you didn't know about and at the same time it might take you through streets which you would have never gone through if you were walking. On the other hand, bus tours are sometimes long and in some cities are considered expensive for tourists, so they will be money and time consuming if you already had a plan for the attractions that you wanted to check and the things which you were already planning to visit, whether walking or even going to them by a taxi or through using the underground.
This was one of the interesting trips we have had in Dublin, we love the idea of road trips and we believed that being on the hop on hop off bus would give us the same kind of experience inside the city, which of course was magical because we got the chance to see all those old buildings of the city and pass by the top attractions of it.
If you are planning to take one of Dublin city bus tours, you should pay attention to your already prepared list of places to visit because you might at some point get off the bus to check a specific attraction from a closer view, have a walk, or even get inside if that is allowed, such as the case with museums (
One of the good and interesting things about these hop on hop off buses is the fact that they give you the chance to ride anytime during the period of your ticket, from any of the stops that the bus passes by, if you are tired and want to go to another place or get closer to your hotel but at the same time don't want to lose checking the city - in other words, we could say that this could serve as your transportation tool from one place to another but in a more touristic kind of way.
If you are visiting Dublin, there are some places which we want to suggest for you to visit - of course in addition to those touristic attractions that the Dublin bus has already passed by. You could visit Dublinia Viking Museum which charts the history of the vikings in Ireland - Medieval Dublin ( You could also visit any of the beautiful famous parks that are found in the city, such as Phoenix Park ( or St. Stephen's Green Park ( Of course we will tell you to have a walk by the River Liffey in the city, which is translated into a life from the Irish language and which separates the south and the north sides of the city (
Dublin is a beautiful old city in Ireland - the capital of Ireland - that attracts visitors to it through the old buildings that are scattered all around the city, the museums telling more about the history of the place, as well as the parks which one could fall in love with.
What do you think, is it worth it to take any of Dublin city bus tours and keep hopping on and off the bus at the sites that you want to explore on a closer look? Tell us your opinion and share with us your experience if you have been to Dublin before and got the chance to enjoy the ride on any of these bus tours.
