Zooming Through the Air at Sleeping Giant Zipline - Cody, Wyoming
Just 3 miles away from the east gate of Yellowstone National Park, this beautiful mountainside is home to the Sleeping Giant Ski Resort in the winter and the new Sleeping Giant Zipline in the summer! Since Eleanor was a little on the short and light side to qualify for the adventure, she and I watched from the ground as Peter, Josiah and Peter's parents zoomed by on the wires. The staff was incredible, helpful and kind, and everyone felt very safe and had a blast!

The Holy City Rock Formation in Park County, Near Cody Wyoming on your way to Yellowstone National

Its resemblance of the Holy City of Jerusalem, is how this area got it's name. To catch a nice view of this 'holy city', you can find it between Cody, Wyoming and Yellowstone.
It has been said that this awesome structure and scene was created by fire and ice, over 50 million years ago. But regardless of how it came to fruition, you'll never want to pass this by without stopping and taking it all in.
Some geologists have determined that hot, volcanic ash helped to form these as well. After slowly cooling, water and run-off streams would form what we see now as the outline of a holy city in Wyoming.

Day 21: Powell, WY to Yellowstone National Park, WY
Day 21 is packed with a ton of activities in Yellowstone National Park. Before heading into the park, my AirBnB host Rod cooks us pancakes and sausage for breakfast. I take the dramatic and gorgeous road into the west entrance of the Park, and then drive to the northern tip of Yellowstone Lake. Then I drive north towards the canyon region and hike up to Mt. Washburn from Dunraven Pass. Next, I head to the Lamar Valley in the Park's northeast corner, where I spot a ton of wildlife. Finally, I shoot out west to the Mammoth Hot Springs region before heading to Bridge Bay Campground for the night.
