Italy To Switzerland! | Exploring The Streets Of Zürich
The end of The Italian Adventure. Taking a very picturesque coach ride from Milan to Zürich, seeing a quick glimpse of Switzerland's countryside. From near 20 degrees celsius in Milan to highs of 3 degrees in Zürich and only having a thin jumper, I can say it was a shock to the system stepping off that coach. The following day I explore the charming streets and lake of Zürich before hitting a bar in the evening.

Walk with us in the Swiss Alps - Beautiful Summer Day Hiking in Switzerland DJI Mavic Air
We often like to find new paths/trails to venture upon. This time around our route took us about 8 hours to complete, climbing nearly 1 kilometre incline, at a distance of approx. 14-15 kms each way. Fantastic (and tough) hike. Not bringing sunscreen with me- and wearing a sleeveless shirt... not very smart on my part.

Note: Some ask me about the MicroSD cards I use (they're a pain sometimes, if you choose the wrong one, from an unreliable brand, etc). There's little worse than spending a day getting once a in a lifetime shots, and coming home only to see issues with the data (corrupt files, card errors, etc). Both cards I use above I stand by: I've not had any issues with either (2 years on the Sony Camera, and 1 year on the Mavic Air

About Us: I'm PJ. My partner, inspiration, trainer, chef, and moral compass, Risa, are what we (reluctantly) refer to as, digital nomads. I say, reluctantly, as I've been living the digital nomad lifestyle for about 15 years now (long before the term was coined, and became the cheesy trend it is today. It seems that everyone these days on vacation with a laptop, a pina colada next to them, Avicii on their headphones, and a dozen memory sticks filled with selfies now considers themselves a (don't forget the hashtag) digital nomad.
I started out at age 19.
I quit my job at the time, to focus on the then still relatively unknown arbitrage business model as applied on eBay. Long story short, I saw an opportunity, invested all I had in it (time + money) and by my early 20s, I no longer had any interest in returning to Canada (where I grew up). I bounced mostly around Asia, for many years (all the usual nomad hotspots: Thailand, Vietnam, S. Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, with a preference for Japan (lived all over Japan, from Tokyo, to the most remote Japanese islands in the Pacific). In late 2013, one of my returns to Tokyo, I met a captivating young woman, Risa, who helped me to re-calibrate my high-flyin', rock-star lifestyle and regain focus. Within a few months of meeting, she elected to quit her job in Tokyo and joined me on this nomadic journey.
This channel, will document our perpetual traveller lifestyle. It's not always easy, it's not always fun. There are highs and lows. Sometimes money is very tight, other times it seems like it's the least of our worries. But when done right, the digital nomad lifestyle is a journey unlike any other.
Over the last few years, we generally stay off the beaten path and instead venture into areas seldom spoken about in digital nomad circles. You won't see us visiting Bali, Saigon, or Bangkok. Been there, got the SIM card, and still feel a bit hungover. As we travel, we focus on personal growth, on disconnecting, unlearning, and thus thriving. We attempt to engage in philanthropy when we can. We respect the cultures kind enough to allow us to visit their land and their homes. Feel free to send us feedback, comments, suggestions.
Thank you for taking an interest in our journey. More videos of exotic places, stories, and people, will be uploaded weekly. As a demonstration of my gratitude to you for taking an interest in us, I will continue improving the quality of the content I create for you on a regular basis.

Motorcycle Touring - 5 Tips to Make You a Better Adventurer!
Convert every motorcycle trip to a real Adventure!
All right, I am sure that you already know how to travel, but when one system work good it doesn’t mean that it cannot be improve it! In this video I will give you 5 very practical tips, how to polish your travel skills and convert any trip to a real adventure, stay with me!
Welcome back in the channel guys! If you ask them people what is the best way to travel you will receive 10 different answers, right! What is interesting is that they all will be right!
Now, instead of telling you the standard motorcycle advices, I will give you the 5 tips I promised and I can guarantee that they will help you much more than you can even imagine.
Tip N: 1 – Step out of your comfort zone.
By saying this I mean that if you really want to convert the trip to a real adventure you need to leave your comfort zone and plan something different. Otherwise it will be the standard thing that 90% of the riders do. I am not saying that it is not right, but they just miss the most interesting part of the trips!
You should include some activities that you have never done it before. Push yourself, test your limits, jump into the unknown territories and enjoy every moment there. All of this will help you to appreciate what you already have and make you even better person.
A… and don’t worry some much about the safety, because it is only an illusion!
Tip N: 2 – Stop comparing with others.
I should have started with this because it is so important! You have to understand one simple truth: There will be always someone better, bigger and richer than you!
Stop comparing and enjoy the trip! You are unique person and you can make your unique trips! I have one very simple question for you:
Do you think that I enjoy my trips less than a person with 20,000 dollars motorcycle and 2,000 dollars gear?
There is no guarantee that the money you are going to spend for motorcycle or gear will help you to make better trips! Stop buying start riding!
Tip N: 3 – Open your mind.
Yes, exactly, open your mind and accept the reality! Do not even think that you know everything. Be like kids, be like sponge – absorb everything! Let the locals guide you be ready for new challenges!
Every person will give you something, regardless of the nationality, religion or skin color! Be like the pilgrims, be adventurer, not just another spoiled boy!
Tip N: 4 – Be flexible.
Be creative be ready to change the entire plan if necessary. Do not ruin the whole trip because of the simple accident or problem. When something like this happens you will have the great opportunity to make from a simple trip a real adventure!
You have to welcome all the obstacles and enjoy the time you need to complete them. Remember – if everything is safe and secure where the adventure will be?
Tip N: 5 – Do not regret or complain!
I am sure that you heard me saying many times: It is what it is! I really like this phrase! It says nothing and everything at the same time! The worst you can do is to regret for what you have done or complain from the current situation. It is not going to help you or your riding friends! This is not a company quarter meeting or annual balance, this is an adventure trip! Do not expect everything to be strict and clear, because it is impossible!

Saint Martin's Island - Just wonderful! - Part 9
Motorcycle trip Bangladesh. Great time in St Martin's Island
The trip was two months long and I did a little above 13,000km. I was on the territories of Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh. I had wonderful time there and met so many so many great people. The idea of these video series is to show you the world the way it is. No hard edition, no cinematic effect. I want you to see and feel everything I have experienced there. Before I start the trip I was looking for information about this part of the world and found that there is not enough. I believe that these video series will fill the gap and provide the necessary information for every motorcycle traveler who has these destinations in his mind.

Simple Maintenance for Long Motorcycle Trips DIY
Motorcycle Maintenance for Long Trips - Do it yourself Tips.
In this video guys I am going to show you what you have to do before your next long motorcycle trip. When I said long I mean more 10,000km or more. If you have unlimited budget, this video is not for you, but if you want to do it as cheaper as possible stay with me.
- Put the bike on the central stand, if you don’t have lift it from the ground with jack.
- Inspect and change if necessary the brake pads and rotors front and rear. If they are in the middle of their lives – change it. You can keep the brake b pads it as a spare in your luggage. Usually is very simple procedure and you can do it if you just check your manual.
- Check the wheel bearing by moving the wheel from side to side. If there is move or it make some strange noises they need to be changed. Repeat the same procedure with the rear wheel. I will show you how to do it easy in my next video.
- Check and if necessary change the steering column bearing as well. To do this I will recommend removing the forks first. When the triple clamp is without any weight you can easy understand if they need to be changed.
If you bike is not new and you never change the bearings I will recommend to do it even if they looks fine at the moment. This could save you a lot of time and money on the road.
- Inspect your chain and sprockets. If they show some indications of wearing or have some rust on it – change it. It might looks fine, but you have more than 20,000km on it-change it. It is very important to change the chain and both sprockets at the same time. If your bike is with drive shaft, check the oil level and inspect for leaking.
- Inspect and if necessary change your throttle and clutch cables. If you have hydraulic pump check the oil level.
- Check all electric cables, just follow the lines and see if they are some visual problems. For example in some angles the cable touch the frame and during the time it could damage the isolation cover and this can be real problem and even cause fire. If necessary remove the tank and inspect underneath. Check the front and rear lights, indicators, number shield light and any other gadgets, if you have it of course.
- Of course change the oil and both – oil and air filters.
- Check the antifreeze level and if it’s looks dirty-change it. If you have air cooled bike check the cooling elements on the cylinder and the cylinder heat.
- Change you spark plug, or plugs if you have more than 1 cylinder. Keep in mind that the guaranteed live of the spark is usually 10,000km. If you have more than 5,000 on it better is to change it and keep it as a spare. Better is to do it now than somewhere on the road. On some bikes this is very difficult procedure.
- Inspect the frame and sub frame for damages or cracks.
- Buy new tires and new tubes. You can find it very easy on Ebay or some other dealers, but I will recommend to do it with the local garage. It will cost you more, but they will do it properly, you will have fresh DOT and if you are lucky you will be back without any punctures. Also they will balance your tires, which you can’t make at home. If you want to save some money remove the wheel by yourself and then go to the garage, this will significant reduce the price.
- Lubricate all the locks on the bike. You can use the chain spray.
Now we are coming to the difficult part or the part which will need help or mechanical skills.
- Inspect and the valves clearance. On some bikes like BMW boxers is very easy, but on some is pain in the ass. On my bike for example I have to spend almost 2 hours to strip all the parts to have access to the valves. If you can’t do it alone you will need help.
- Forks and shock inspections. If they are fine good, but they are not you will need help. The best you can do is to remove it yourself and then go to the garage. This will reduce the price a lot. This is exactly what I am going to do because as you can see my front forks are linking. Also inspect and lubricate the linkage under your shock.
After you do all of this you are ready to go. Of course it is impossible to predict everything, but at least you to try.

A Winter Day Trip in Zurich ~ Where to find a Cheap Meal
Welcome to Mieer Travel Tips and your quick guide to Zurich, Switzerland. Come join us as we take a day trip through wintery Zurich and go for a tram ride to explore the city and visit the Christmas Market. Switzerland is extremely expensive so bring lots of money if you want to stay more than a day. The city can best be seen by Tram, especially on a wet, rainy and snowy day. So grab an all-zone day pass for about 13 Francs (~$17 CDN) per person and ride the train to the airport, and as many trams as you can around the city.
You will find hotel food so expensive that a simple breakfast for two will cost you ~ $80 CDN, dinner for two ~ $120 - $150 CDN, at the very least. A hot chocolate and tart about $17 CDN. But we found one smart little restaurant where you can share a whole roasted chicken with fries, salad and drinks for about $35 CDN. Activities like a mountain tour to Pilatus or other snow adventures will set you back at least $300 per person plus meals. Enjoy before it really gets out of hand…
If you like what we do, please share and subscribe to our Channel and stay tuned for more adventure travelogs coming soon…
