Val Thorens – Unlimited Skiing and Après Ski fun!
Welcome to ‘’Les 3 Vallées,’’ the famous ‘’Three Valleys.’’ Val Thorens is at an altitude of 2,300 m and thusly the highest winter sports resort in Europe. From Chambery, the resort is easily reached in just one and a half hour’s drive.
Les Trois Vallées is one of the largest ski areas in the world. 198 lifts and 600 km of prepared pistes reaching up to an altitude of 3,300 m make up a ski region of extremes.
In addition to the skiing possibilities, Val Thorens offers crowds a huge variety of cozy bars, cafés, and restaurants as well as several shops, boutiques, and arcades. Whether you’re looking for a great workout or total relaxation, both are possible in the sports centre. In addition to fitness rooms, table tennis, and a roller hockey rink, you can even play tennis and squash.
The spa pool with Jacuzzi, sauna, massage rooms, and several additional wellness opportunities offer limitless relaxation. But if you’re looking for something a little more social, the bowling centre, renovated in 2006, also includes an international sports bar.
In the shopping arcades, you’ll find loads of regional specialties as well as supermarkets for your every-day needs.
Aprés ski gets going as early as sun-down. With 30 bars and 3 discos, there really is something for everyone. Our tip: start in LE MONDE, the après ski bar with international character.
A particular highlight on the bar crawl is a visit to Europe’s highest-altitude disco ‘’Malaysia.’’ Live music and club sounds provide the soundtrack for a party that continues late into the night.
