ABOUT FISH THE SALT CHARTERS (aka, Get Hooked Fishing Charters )
When fishing the back country around Naples, Marco Island and the 10,000 Islands you need a boat that runs fast and can run in water that conventional boats can't. That is why Capt. Tim runs a 22 ft. Pathfinder tournament edition, powered by a 200 Yamaha HPDI. It has a 8ft Power Pole shallow water anchoring system, Motor Guide wireless trolling motor, Garmin 4208 gps, Bobs Jack plate, live bait well and tons of dry storage. This boat is a comfortable ride that will run fast and float skinny.

Lea-Hutaff Island, NC, North Point Flight 2
Lea-Hutaff Island is one of the last undeveloped barrier islands along North Carolina’s coast. The 4 mile long island is Located between Topsail and Figure Eight Islands. Once separate islands, Lea and Hutaff were joined in 1998 when an inlet filled in. Just three houses were ever built on Lea Island and the last house, which can be seen in this video, collapsed October 5th 2015, less than three months after this video was taken.
Much of Lea Island is owned by the state and Audubon North Carolina, which monitors beach nesting birds and sea turtles. The Hutaff family retains ownership of its portion in a trust.
Go Pro: Crystal River 6-24-15 Tons of small trout
Water was very low everywhere we attempted to go. Didn't do well searching for reds, caught 1and spooked several. Caught a ton of small trout before the wind picked up. Caught 1 every cast for an hour or two then headed home early. Caught a few bass in the canal on a lizard, still managed a fun day.

Even with the stormy seas the guests caught so many fish and we believe it is because they have so many spots they have researched well and continued to go to over the years, they are experts at finding the fish no matter the conditions.
The crew was wonderful to all of the guests and taking care of them and making sure they could focus on deep sea fishing and the crew handled the rest. It was definitely an honor to meet them and go fishing! Types of fish caught: cobia, Snapper, yellowtail, grouper, Mangrove, lion fish, frog fish, scallops and even an eel!

GIANT Speckled Trout- Indian River Lagoon Flats Fishing
I have been inshore wade fishing the Indian river lagoon around Ft. Pierce and Stuart for about a year now. This was my first encounter with a gator speckled trout (sea trout). These are smart, elusive and aggressive fish that stalk and landing them generally ends with heartbreak as they have soft mouthes and spit hooks very easily. This was a BIG trout on a topwater lure, but i'm still after that GIANT 30+ inch fanged monster.
