This cathedral is an excellent example of Gothic architecture and is the biggest and most important church in the country. Located within Prague Castle and containing the tombs of many Bohemian kings and Holy Roman Emperors, the cathedral is under the ownership of the Czech government as part of the Prague Castle complex.[1] Cathedral dimensions are 124 × 60 meters, the main tower is 96.5 meters high, front towers 82 m, arch height 33.2 m.

It is the country's largest church, and contains numerous side chapels, frescoes and tombstones, not forgetting the nave's beautiful coloured stained-glass windows created by the famous Czech Art Nouveau artist, Alfons Mucha.

The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslaus and Adalbert is a Roman Catholic metropolitan cathedral in Prague, the seat of the Archbishop of Prague. Up to 1997, the cathedral was dedicated only to Saint Vitus, and is still commonly named only as St. Vitus Cathedral.

Katedrála svatého Víta, Václava a Vojtěcha nebo jen katedrála svatého Víta či svatovítská katedrála dle původního zasvěcení, je nejvýznamnější český katolický kostel a dominanta Pražského hradu.
Již od desátého století je svatovítský kostel sídelním kostelem biskupa pražské diecéze, roku 1344 povýšené na arcidiecézi. Při této příležitosti byla zahájena stavba trojlodní gotické katedrály se třemi věžemi, přerušená však husitskými válkami. Přes snahy o dostavbu a dílčí doplňky (vrchol jižní věže) došlo k dostavbě západní části s lodí a dvouvěžovým průčelím až po pěti stech letech, od roku 1873 a slavnostně byla dokončena r. 1929 k tehdy předpokládanému tisíciletému výročí úmrtí svatého Václava, zakladatele kostela. Součástí katedrály je celá řada významných uměleckých památek z různých staletí včetně období dostavby, k nejvýznamnějším patří díla z doby gotické výstavby katedrály (např. kaple sv. Václava, mozaika Posledního soudu a portréty na triforiu).( )
Katedra Świętych Wita, Wacława i Wojciecha – siedziba arcybiskupów praskich i prymasa czeskiego, główny kościół Pragi i Czech. Usytuowany jest na wzgórzu zamkowym Hradczany, jest trzecim kościołem na tym miejscu (po przedromańskiej rotundzie i romańskiej bazylice), stanowi dominantę historycznej i obecnej panoramy miasta. Budowana w kilku fazach, w latach 1344–1385 (część wschodnia, wraz z elewacją południową), w latach 1870-1929 roku dokończono całość. Jeden z cenniejszych przykładów architektury dojrzałego gotyku i neogotyku w Europie Środkowej. Wewnątrz zawiera cenne dzieła sztuki rzeźby i malarstwa od XIV do XX w. w tym dzieła Petera Parlera i jego warsztatu (nagrobki Przemyślidów, popiersia czeskich osobistości na tryforium), fragmenty oryginalnych fresków, na zewnątrz mozaika z XIV w. ze sceną Sądu Ostatecznego, jedna z niewielu na północ od Alp. Sanktuarium świętych patronów czeskich (Wita, Wacława, Wojciecha, Zygmunta oraz Jana Nepomucena). Jest historycznym kościołem grzebalnym i koronacyjnym królów czeskich, ponad tzw. Złotą Bramą przechowywane są insygnia koronacyjne królów czeskich, w tym korona św. Wacława.( )
