Me driving a Ferrari 458 Italia around the Modena Circuit in Italy
As per the title... The instructor/babysitter was being incredibly conservative with the braking point instruction and I nearly stopped before the corner a couple of times to try and convince him to be more realistic. It was great fun but on the road section back to the rental place the brakes barely worked. It was surprising how even in a car like this, 4 laps of hard braking really overstressed the braking system. FYI, the 458 had 135000km on it, must be one of the highest km examples!
How to drive a Ferrari in Maranello - Did we get a speeding ticket??
Driving a Ferrari in Maranello, home of Ferrari, in Italy, can be anyone's dream.
Beside visiting the Ferarri museum, actually driving a Ferrari on the streets (NOT on the race track!) is a thrilling experience.
There are a lot of companies located near the Ferrari museum that offer these services. Prices are pretty much similar, starting at 60 Euros for 10min (10km) and ranging up to more than 2000 Euros for one day.
You will NOT be able to drive without a professional on your right who will be watching you, but don't worry, the'll allow you to kick it down when the traffic allows it.
The experience is well worth the money.
In this vlog we are showing you how we have done it :)
Thanx for watching! Ferrari's EVERYWHERE in Maranello - Ferrari 70th Anniversary
Last weekend I went to Maranello (Italy) for the Ferrari 70th Anniversary. I think that I saw more than 1,000 Ferrari's including very rare models like two LaFerrari Aperta's, Enzo's, F40's, F50's and many more...probably the best event I've ever attended.
Of course the cars in the video are not the only I saw during my stay...so I invite you to follow me on the other social to see more content, links below ;)

Ferrari 70th Anniversary at Fiorano - Event Footage
* Part 2 -
Enzo Ferrari's vision and boyhood dreams revealed in a uniquely thrilling story that brilliantly encapsulated the passion, attention-to-detail and flair that produced the Maranello marque’s inimitable style. The Rosso 70 show was the high point of the first day of Ferrari's 70th Anniversary celebrations at the Fiorano circuit, captivating the 4,000-plus guests who were completely undeterred by the wet weather.
Chairman Sergio Marchionne got the evening underway by welcoming his guests, who had come from all over the globe, before handing over to the cadets of Modena’s Military Academy for the raising of flag followed by the Italian national anthem. The audience was then whisked off on an exhilarating voyage of discovery of the life and vision of Enzo Ferrari.
The central part of the show focused on the lifestyles and changing society of the last 70 years, a story inextricably linked with that of Ferrari, an international style icon since its earliest days. Taking turns on the stage also were the first Ferrari ever built, the 125 S, the 250 California of the 1950s, the 250 GTO of 1962, celebrated as much for its track victories as its beauty, the 512 BB, the legendary Testarossa, star of American TV series and videogames alike, the F50, the Enzo and, of course, the LaFerrari Aperta, the iconic Prancing Horse 70th Anniversary car.
Passion too had its place with a monologue delivered by Irish Game of Thrones star, Liam Cunningham, providing a segue into the section of the show devoted to racing, Formula 1 and otherwise, and the homage to the Scuderia’s champions through the years. Then Kimi Räikkönen and Sebastian Vettel stepped on the stage. Last but not least was a video tribute to the great Michael Schumacher, whose long battle continues.
The show concluded with a spectacular virtual pit-stop featuring driver Marc Gené in a Ferrari Formula 1 car, and a thrilling display by dancers, acrobats and percussionists who accompanied the clients to the Jamiroquai concert that closed the evening.
The day had begun in Modena with lunch at the Military Academy for Concours d'Elegance participants and the arrival of 500 Ferraris from all over Europe. The largest single-make auction ever held also took place before dinner with 35 Prancing Horse cars going under the hammer. These included the LaFerrari Aperta that sold for 8.3 million euro. Proceeds from that particular sale will go to Save the Children, an organisation that provides education for the world’s most disadvantaged children.
The celebrations continue on Sunday with the Ferrari 70 Concours d'Elegance. A total of 120 cars, divided into 20 classes, have been entered, some of inestimable value. An astonishing and unmissable display of elegance and exclusivity.

Ferrari Family Day 2019 at Ferrari Factory in Maranello Highlights
Ferrari Family Day has attracted record attendance numbers. Chairman John Elkann welcomed over 24,000 people to the now-traditional event which sees employees, their families and friends visit the Ferrari factory in Maranello and the Carrozzeria Scaglietti in Modena.
The leitmotif running right through the day is the SF90 Stradale, the marque’s first production hybrid car. Several different versions of the model are on display along a visitor route that illustrates the design, innovations and exceptional characteristics that have justifiably seen the model dubbed a ‘production supercar’.
The various departments in which the latter model and the other Ferraris are built are also open to visitors: from the buildings where designers and engineers craft our designs to the foundry, the Car Assembly area, and the Fiorano Track where all Prancing Horse models are developed before being dispatched to over 60 countries around the world. The visitors also got to admire at first-hand the other cars in the range and the F1 single-seaters of past and present.

Feature: A Visit To The Ferrari Factory In Maranello
FERRARI 599 GTO w/ XX WING - Acceleration, driving and sound in Monaco 2013 HQ
Here another video from my special week-end spent in Monaco last Summer. Monaco is for sure the Carspotting Heaven, because you can see over one hundred supercars and hypercars in a single day without losing the opportuniy to visit this wonderful city located on the beautiful French Riviera.
The heart of the city, and The Mecca for every guy who likes automotive world, is certainly the CASINO SQUARE where there are the mythic Casino de Monte-Carlo and the HOTEL THE PARIS. This places, for the monegasque PLACE DU CASINO, attract the best cars and hypercars of the world making you time spent there unforgettable.
One of the other most exclusive places of the city is for sure the MONTE CARLO BEACH HOTEL, a wonderful place at the end of Monaco at the border with Roquebrune Cap-Martin which offers umbrellas and sunbeds at the seaside. A night in this luxury Hotel costs 500-2.000 €, so only rich people attends it and used to park his amazing supercars in front of Hotel entrace.
In this video a stunning red with white stripes Ferrari 599 GTO powered by a 599 XX rear wing with swiss driving licence plate spotted around the city giving me the possibility to film it in each detail like rims, engine, interior, cavallino logo and to record its noisy start-up and its lovely sound while driving.
The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is a sports car produced by the italian manufacture in Maranello, Modena since 2006 to replace the Ferrari 575M Maranello.
This two-seat flagship is entirely designed by Pininfarina under the direction of Frank Stephenson and was unveiled for the first time at the 2006 Geneva Motorshow.
Its name stands for its displacement (5999 cc) Gran Turismo Berlinetta, and Fiorano is a tribute to the historical private Ferrari Track.
In the 2010 was announced the Ferrari 599 GTO, where GTO stands for GranTurismo Omologato, becoming the third car in the Ferrari's history to have this designation after the 250 GTO and the 288 GTO. The car is a road legal version of the Ferrari 599XX and Ferrari says that the 599 GTO is their fastest road car ever, able to lap the Fiorano test circuit in 1 minute 24 seconds, one second faster than the Enzo Ferrari.
Its engine produce now 670 hp and 620 Nm of torque, enough to reach the 0-100 Km/h in 3,3 seconds and a max speed of over 340 Km/h.
At the powerful engine we have to add almost 100 Kg less than the standard GTB, with a weight of only 1605 Kg.
One of the most significant innovations on the 599 GTO is the close correlation between the chassis set-up, which is close to the handling limit, and the input from the electronic controls which are developed to increase overall levels of performance.
The production was limited to 599 units, all sold in a week from debout at a basical price of 350.000 €, with 125 produced for the United States market.
At the 2010 Paris Motor Show was introduced a convertible version of the 599 GTO, named Ferrari 599 SA Aperta in honor of the designers Sergio and Andrea Pininfarina. The production was limited to only 80 examples for a price of 1 Million dollars.
The production will end in 2012, when the 599 was replaced by the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, and everybody can't wait for a Ferrari F12 GTO to follow the footsteps of this awesome car.
Complete walkaround with each detail like interior, wheels, engine, logo and lights, driving, LOUD starting-up and really noisy exhaust rev sound.
Hoping you liked the video and that you want Share, Like and Comment to give me the opporunity improve myself.

Ferrari FF, Museo Ferrari Maranello, Maranello, Modena, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, Europe
The Ferrari FF (FF meaning Ferrari Four, for four seats and four-wheel drive) is a grand tourer presented by Ferrari on March 1, 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show. It is Ferrari's first production four-wheel drive model. The body style has been described as a shooting-brake a type of sporting station wagon/estate car with two doors. It replaced the 612 Scaglietti grand tourer. The FF has a top speed of 335 km/h (208 mph) and it accelerates from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds. Ferrari states that the FF is the world's fastest four-seat automobile. The FF costs US$300,000, with 800 being produced during the first year. At the time of its unveiling Ferrari FF has the largest capacity road-going Ferrari engine ever produced: a F140 EB 6,262 cc (6.3 L; 382.1 cu in) naturally aspirated direct injected 65° V12, which produces 660 PS (485 kW; 651 hp) at 8,000 rpm and 683 N·m (504 lb·ft) of torque at 6000 rpm. The FF is equipped with a 7-speed double-clutch semi-automatic paddle shift system similar to the California, the 458 Italia, and the F12berlinetta. The new four-wheel drive system, engineered and patented by Ferrari, is called 4RM: it is around 50% lighter than a conventional system, and provides power intelligently to each of the four wheels as needed. It functions only when the manettino dial on the steering wheel is in the comfort or snow positions, leaving the car most often in the traditional rear wheel drive layout. Ferrari's first use of 4RM was in a prototype created in the end of the 80s, called 408 4RM (abbreviation of 4.0 liter, 8 cylinder, 4 Ruote Motrici, meaning four-wheel drive). This system is based around a second, simple, gearbox (gears and other components built by Carraro Engineering), taking power from the front of the engine. This gearbox (designated power take off unit, or PTU) has only two forward gears (2nd and 4th) plus reverse (with gear ratios 6% taller than the corresponding ratios in the main gearbox), so the system is only active in 1st to 4th gears. The connection between this gearbox and each front wheel is via independent haldex-type clutches, without a differential. Due to the difference in ratios the clutches continually slip and only transmit, at most, 20% of the engine's torque. A detailed description of the system (based on a conversation with Roberto Fedeli, Ferrari's technical director) has been published. The FF shares the design language of contemporary Ferraris, including the pulled-back headlights of the 458 Italia, and the twin circular taillights seen on the 458 as well as the 599 GTB Fiorano. Designed under the direction of Lowie Vermeersch, former Design Director at Pininfarina, work on the shooting brake concept initially started following the creation of the Sintesi show car of 2007. Distinctive styling elements include a large egg-crate grille, defined side skirts, and four exhaust tips. The shooting brake configuration is a departure from the conventional wedge shape of modern Ferraris, and the FF has been likened to the similarly-shaped 1962 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Drogo race car. The combination of hatchback-like shooting-brake design and collapsible rear seats gives the Ferrari FF a boot capacity of between 450 litres (16 cu ft) to 800 litres (28 cu ft). The FF won Top Gear magazine's Estate Car of the Year 2011 award. According to Friday, 31 May 2013 US Department of Energy, Ferrari FF, 12 cyl., 6.3 L, Auto (AM7) is 2013 Least Fuel Efficient Car in the midsize class (the same position as the Bentley Mulsanne 8 cyl., 6.8 L, Auto (S8)), with 13 mpg-US (18 L/100 km).
Massa drives 2007 Ferrari in Italy
Felipe Massa made a welcome return to a Formula One cockpit this week by driving the Ferrari F2007 at Fiorano. After an unplanned break of over 2 months, the Brazilian's preperations continue ahead of 2010.
