Do you want to make a journey through time that will get you to a secret place that keeps the memory of culture of Greek and Baktrian and Kushan kingdoms, heathen ceremonies of fire-worshippers, and shaman cults?

The cave Teshik-Tash, where remains of Neanderthal people were found, is worldwide known. Mural paintings of magical bull-hunting of Mesolite Era may be seen nearby in Kugitang Mountains. All these are BOYSUN.
It will take you just two hours drive from Termez towards the Boysun Mountains and you will find yourself in quite a different world, where centuries-old customs and culture of local people remained almost unchanged.
Names of villages such as Rabat, Derbend, Padang, Kofirun sound like magical music promising travel into a fairy tale. And you will get it, crossing the hot desert steppes at foothills of Boysun Mountains. Walnut, plane tree groves are superseded by archa forests. Alpine glades that cover the land as an emerald carpet are pleasant to the eye. Crystal water of mountain rivers creates a specific microclimate have a wholesome effect on everything living. In spring dekhkans (peasants) cultivate the land, using methods of their ancestors: they lay the furrows leaning against the horsed plow. And this is not an exotics, but real life.

NHK Silk Road IV : Steep Road to the Oasis - Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan
NHK (日本放送協会 Nippon Hōsō Kyōkai?, official English name: Japan Broadcasting Corporation) is Japan's national public broadcasting organization.[2] NHK, which has always identified itself to its audiences by the English pronunciation of its initials,[3] is a publicly owned corporation funded by viewers' payments of a television license fee.
Launched in 1980, NHK's renowned Silk Road series was the first foreign TV program allowed to film Silk Road inside communist China. The series sparked enormous interest. A quarter of a century later, NHK re-visits Silk Road with high-definition cameras. The first half of the journey is to Loolan, Tibet, Taklamakan Desert and Xian. The trip then continues from former Soviet Central Asia to the Middle East and Turkey. With its swirling mix of ethnic identities, this region is now carving out a new period of history led by the resurgence of Islam. NHK provides a new look at this modern-day Silk Road giving you a clear view of the regions' momentous changes.
A visit to a new city that has emerged near the border between Kyrgyzstan and China. The city shows rapid growth due to the huge influx of Chinese goods. Heading west, we will see the cotton fields spread out across a huge oasis in Uzbekistan. We also explore the beautiful, white-bricked city of Bukhara, which still maintains an atmosphere of the Middle Ages. In one of the city's narrow streets, Uzbekis, Russians, Jews, and others live together side-by-side in harmony. Visit these people who live to the fullest amidst the uncertainties after the collapse of the former Soviet Union.
Pride and fears for Uzbekistan's 'Louvre of the Steppes'
More than 50 years after its founding, the Nukus Museum of Art in Uzbekistan's remote Karakalpakstan region still startles and charms visitors in the spirit of its eccentric late founder. But having survived Soviet censorship and predatory foreign art dealers in the 1990s, some fear the world's second-largest collection of Russian avant-garde art, faces a fresh threat.

Travel to Kazakhstan (http://tour-uzbekistan.com/)
The world’s ninth-biggest country is the most economically advanced of the ‘stans’, thanks to its abundant reserves of oil and most other valuable minerals. This means generally better standards of accommodation, restaurants and transport than elsewhere in Central Asia. The biggest city, Almaty, is almost reminiscent of Europe with its leafy avenues, chic cafes, glossy shopping centres and hedonistic nightlife. The capital Astana, on the windswept northern steppe, has been transformed into a 21st-century showpiece with a profusion of bold futuristic architecture. But it's beyond the cities that you'll find the greatest travel adventures, whether hiking in the high mountains and green valleys of the Tian Shan, searching for wildlife on the lake-dotted steppe, enjoying home-spun hospitality in village guesthouses, or jolting across the western deserts to remote underground mosques.
