ग्वालियर। ग्वालियर भारत के मध्य प्रदेश प्रान्त का एक प्रमुख पर्यटन स्थल है। भौगोलिक दृष्टि से ग्वालियर मप्र के उत्तर में स्थित है। ऋषि गालव के नाम पर शहर का नाम ग्वायिलर पड़ा।
यह शहर गुर्जर प्रतिहार, तोमर तथा कछवाहा राजवंशों की राजधानी रहा है। इस शहर में इनके द्वारा छोड़े गए प्राचीन चिन्ह स्मारक, किला, महलों के रूप में मिल जाएंगे। सहेज कर रखे गए अतीत के भव्य स्मृति चिन्ह इस शहर को पर्यटन की दृष्टि से काफी महत्वपूर्ण बनाते हैं।यह हर वर्ष लाखों की संख्या में पयर्टक आते हैं। ग्वालियर में स्थित सूर्य मंदिर कोणार्क (उड़ीसा) के प्रसिद्ध सूर्य मंदिर की प्रतिकृति है। यह सूर्य देवता को समर्पित ग्वालियर में एक प्रसिद्ध तीर्थ स्थान है। यह मुरार क्षेत्र में स्थित है। शहर में नवनिर्मित मंदिरों में से एक है।

About This Vlog :-
The Surya Mandir or Sun Temple is one of the most spectacular shrines as well as an architectural wonder that adorns the city of Gwalior. As the name suggests, the temple is dedicated to the holy Sun God and was constructed in the year 1988 by the famous industrialist G.D. Birla. Built on the lines of legendary Sun Temple at Konark, Orissa, the Sun Temple of Gwalior is a magnificent amalgam of exquisite architecture in red sandstone and pearly white marble.

Gwalior is a major city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh
Gwalior is administrative headquarters of Gwalior district and Gwalior division
Gwalior has been selected as one of the hundred Indian cities to be developed as a smart city under PM Narendra Modi's flagship Smart Cities Mission.
Hindi in its standard form is widely spoken in Gwalior. Marathi is the second biggest language of the city, spoken by 20% of the population. There is a strong Marathi influence in Gwalior due to Maratha Rule over the centuries.
The Tighra dam is located on the outskirts of the city. The dam is now being used to store water from the Sank river and supply water to the whole of the city.
The Lashkar part of Gwalior has many beautiful parks, including the Phool Bagh or the garden of flowers build for the welcome of prince of Cambridge and the Italian Garden - the garden which was used by the Scindias as a place of relaxation, is built in Italian texture with a water pool surrounded by musical fountains. Ambedkar Park and Gandhi Park are the other prominent parks.
Gwalior Zoo, a lively and beautiful zoological parks, provides a home for white tigers, serpents, golden pheasants, sambar, hyena, bison, and others.
Gwalior is a major railway junction in the Northern central region. The Gwalior Junction (Station code: GWL) is the part of the North Central Railways. Gwalior is one of the few places where both narrow gauge and broad gauge railways tracks are operational. Gwalior is the terminus for the longest narrow gauge route operating in the world, covering a distance of 198 km from Gwalior Junction to Sheopur. Gwalior Junction is a five railway track intersection point. It won an award for the best and cleanest station of North Central Railway zone.
Gwalior Airport also called Rajamata Vijaya Raje Scindia Airport, is the airport of Gwalior.

ग्वालियर में स्थित सूर्य मंदिर कोणार्क (उड़ीसा) के प्रसिद्ध सूर्य मंदिर की प्रतिकृति है। यह सूर्य देवता को समर्पित ग्वालियर में एक प्रसिद्ध तीर्थ स्थान है। यह मुरार क्षेत्र में स्थित है। शहर में नवनिर्मित मंदिरों में से एक है।
जिसकी वास्तुकला शैली कोणार्क के सूर्य मंदिर के समान है।
इसका निर्माण 1988 में जी. डी. बिरला ने किया था। मंदिर का आंतरिक भाग संगमरमर से बना है जबकि बाहरी भाग पर हिंदू देवी देवताओं की नक्काशियां हैं। यह मरोर के निवास के पास स्थित है। मंदिर का परिसर शांत और स्वच्छ है तथा यहाँ एक सुंदर उद्यान है।
