A short video of while I was in Tokyo, Japan during the Summer.
I went to the Taito Station Arcade at BIGBOX Takadanobaba quite a lot before Tougeki SBO began, there were a lot of JP SFIV Pro's playing there. Then eventually, Daigo showed up and I decided to try a game against him. This was the first try :P My friend recorded this from his phone lol (that's why the quality is pretty bad). As you can see it was pretty close D:
If you also look very closely, when I get off the arcade cabinet, you can see Marn playing next to me. I didn't even realize it was him after I saw the vid again.
It was awesome to have played against the Legend, the Beast; Umehara Daigo.

SAP vs Japan - our Japan Trip in Takadanobaba local arcade
Yeah we're in Takadanobaba - Stu and SAP wanted to challenge in the local arcade here, but it's a sleepy town, so the level isn't high here specifically.
SAP takes on a Japanese guy and does alright.
Also you can see the PhoneBooks with Character movelist and info on it chained to the counters. There is the live screen that also shows past tier matches - there's card machines with every flavour of card you want - CreamSoda, Cola x n -
Even this sleepy little arcade is kitted out - nice.

Tokyo Day 3 - Shinjuku Taito Game Center
For those who want a glimpse inside a modern Japanese Arcade, here is your chance.
Mikado arcade - Takadanobaba, Tokyo.
Very brief walk around some of the Mikado arcade in Tokyo. Rows of candy cabs, more or less every fighting game and shmup represented. The arcade hosts tournaments regularly and live-streams on the Internet.
Big Box Arcade Mini Tour (Tokyo,Japan)
A short video of the famous japanese arcade where the likes of Daigo, Nemo and Mago go to play. Unfortunately the tour was cut short and I didnt manage to get the whole arcade since I was told to stop taking videos and pictures mid way through filming, but most of the stuff that was left were those crane prize machines and I was lucky to capture all the good stuff anyways. So if your interested in what the arcade is/looks like then hope you enjoy the vid!

GOLD JACKPOT - Japanese Taiko Station Medal Game Jackpot [Raw Footage]
At the Takadanobaba BIGBOX Taiko Station, my first time playing the coin pusher medal game, about 20 minutes in I got the Gold Jackpot for more than 5000 medals! It was awesome and I ended up running around putting them in random machines and giving them to people because I didn't know what to do with them all.
Apologies for vertical video, didn't intend to upload this at first. Also, this is the raw footage and I will upload an edited version when I have the time. Just thought it'd be fun to show the whole thing!

So I had my biggest winstreak at BIGBOX yet before I decide to turn on the camera and get raped, lol. Here's what happens when you guess wrong vs the vortex :P
Oh yeah...reason why the 3rd match is being cut off is due to the fact that BIGBOX staff is dumb and asked us to stop recording. You can hear this at the very end of the video.

I'm in Osaka right now, but I have some footage of my last few days in Tokyo, so in the upcoming days you'll be seeing some footage from Shinjuku Sportsland, Mikado, and the famous BIGBOX arcade in Takadanobaba, Tokyo.
Sorry for the crappy quality, no tripod etc and I don't exactly have a high quality HD camera, but whatever, its really better than nothing.
