Although Nantou belongs to a countryside faraway from Taipei central but this place is famous towards tourists not only because of their traditional dishes but also because of an extremely well-known destination called Xitou Monster Village, so this video today is basically me - Mặt Nọng take you on a trip throughout this interesting destination and I will also introduce an unfamiliar place where you can sightseeing, learning, trying food sample about a type of traditional dessert in Taiwan - super squishy chewy Mochi cake.

Quirky Japanese theme park? Cultural-historical oddity? Full-on tourist trap? Awesomely freaky place to spend the night?
It’s hard to sum up the Xitou Monster Village (aka Nantou Monster Village) in just a few words, so you’ll have to read on below to find out exactly what on Earth it is.
While difficult to define, and despite its somewhat remote location at the terminal end of County Highway 151 in mountainous Nantou county, the Xitou Monster Village sees a staggering 200,000 visitors a month, making it one of the most popular things to do in Nantou and most unusual places to visit in Taiwan. If you like quirky sights, then definitely consider adding it to your Taiwan tour itinerary!
It’s worth noting that a trip to Xitou Monster Village is easily combined with Sun Moon Lake, and the Sun Moon Lake Xitou pass saves you money if you are coming by bus from Taichung.

The Luodong Farm Cultural Exchange Visitor Factory, ( also known as the Loton Farmers Association, is well-known for their organic soya milk and preserved century eggs. It is situated near the train station in Luodong Township and is equipped with a tourist information centre, an exhibition hall, a production line tour, and a restaurant. It makes a great stop for family activities, and gives many a chance to get their hands dirty and prepare their own traditional delicacies.
Visitors can have the DIY experience of making own tofu, dolls painting and candles painting. So for all you DIY fans out there, don't forget to give this place a visit!

Buddhist Temple Prayers for Chinese Flight MH370 Relatives
Two busloads of relatives of Chinese passengers were taken to a Buddhist temple in Kuala Lumpur Monday to take part in chanting and prayers. Families are angry over the lack of concrete information about the whereabouts of flight 370. However, they thanked those who've been sending support and trying to find their loved-ones. CCTV's Ryan Meltzer reports.
What to eat in Monster Village
Japan monster village in xitou, nantou taichung taiwan has a crazy monster image food.
We try to eat some of the best food that can be found in the village. But were sad because we have not try the famous ham and cheese bread in kubota bakery and some monster food around the village because when we went there, bird flu is already in the country.
Still, i highly recommend going to the village. Its worth of your time.
