When This Guy Got An Old Tank On Ebay, He Little Knew A $2 Million Fortune Lay Inside
**************************************************************
On a farm in rural England, mechanic Todd Chamberlain is rooting around in the fuel container of an old tank. Eventually, his hand grasps something heavy and cold, but when he pulls it out, it isn’t the rusty weaponry he expects to find. Instead, it’s a treasure thought to be worth millions of dollars.
Collector Nick Mead lives in Helmdon, a village in Northamptonshire in the East Midlands, England. And from his farm, he runs Tanks-alot, a business that hires out military vehicles for movies and TV shows as well as for private events and even driving lessons.

Altogether, Mead has some 150 vehicles from around the world, including some used by the British, U.S. and Russian armies. Impressively, too, he’s the only private collector to own a Challenger 1 – a tank designed in the U.K. and still used in combat to this day.
Tanks-alot allows interested parties to visit the farm and try their hand at driving military vehicles. In fact, it’s even possible to hire a tank limousine in which to explore London in style. Recently, however, Mead came up with another idea to boost his business.

Tanks A lot! Veterans protesting against 'lawfare' being waged against them by the Government 1st
Veterans protesting outside the Houses of Parliament against the continuing legal action being taken against their colleagues, decades after the events for which they are being investigated. I'd guess the only people who are happy with this state of affairs are the terrorists and their supporters; and of course, the lawyers...

Most Increible Gold Discoveries
From a discovery of Roman gold that started with the search for a hammer to one of the largest golden nuggets ever found, here are some of the most amazing gold discoveries ever made.
7. Dog Walking Discovery:
You know when you’re out for a walk and you happen upon a 5 dollar bill and feel like it’s your lucky day? Well...one couple in California got to know that feeling very very well. During the California Gold Rush in the 1800s, hundreds of people flocked to California in the hopes of striking it rich while panning and mining for gold. The area was known to be rich in gold and silver but due to an oversaturation of prospectors, the supply was quickly depleted. Robbers and thieves ran rampant, leading many to stash their wealth in unusual places for safe keeping. In 2013, an unidentified California couple were out walking their dog when they noticed an odd container sticking out of the ground. Upon examining the metal canister, they found it to be full of coins.
6. Tank Stash
Fifty five year old Nick Mead owns over 150 military vehicles in Helmdon, Northants. His business, Tanks-A-Lot, allows everyday people the opportunity to drive tanks, armored cars, and other military grade means of transportation. As a collector, Mead regularly purchases new vehicles to restore and add to his collection with the help of his mechanic of choice, Todd Chamberlin. The two expected little more than a hard day’s work when they began restoring Mead’s newest purchase, a Russian T54/69 tank. While pulling back the diesel tank case, the two were shocked to find several twelve pound gold bars. The police confiscated the gold and at this time are holding on to it, as it is believed to have been looted during a campaign in Afghanistan, making its ownership, er, problematic.
5. Half Angel Coin
Metal detecting has become quite a popular hobby in recent years, bringing the promise of potential wealth at any given moment. In 2017, metal detectorist Michelle Vall was partaking in her usual hobby just outside of Bosworth Field when she got, ding ding ding, a positive hit. After checking out her find, she realized that, incredibly, she had just uncovered one of the rarest coins in the world: a Half Angel Coin. These coins, minted during the brief reign of King Richard III, were almost entirely wiped out after his death during a battle on Bosworth Field. Only a select handful, including Vall’s coin, survived the battle and subsequent remodelling of the kingdom.
4. Nazi Gold
In early 2017, a spokesperson for the Icelandic Environmental Agency told Fox News of a recent discovery made just outside of their shoreline: a sunken ship. Identified as the SS Minden, a German cargo ship sunk early on during World War II, has been at the bottom of the sea for decades, undisturbed right up until now.
3. Twelve Pound Nugget
In 2013 in Australia, one of the largest gold nuggets found in modern times was unearthed in an absolute fluke by an amatuer prospector. The unidentified man believed he was digging up the hood of a car or some other large chunk of metal which he intended to scrap until he saw the familiar glint of gold. As he cleaned up the piece, he realized it was much larger than he initially thought, weighing in at a bit over twelve pounds. The massive gold nugget was only twenty three inches under the surface of the dirt, making it absolutely mind boggling that it took so long to be uncovered.
2. Hoxne Hoard
Just outside of Suffolk in the winter of 1962, tenant farmer Peter Whatling asked his friend Eric Lawes for help finding his lost hammer. Lawes, yet another amatuer metal detectorist, began searching and accidentally uncovered several loose gold and silver coins, some jewelry, spoons, and other odd artifacts. Concerned, the two stopped searching the area and contacted the authorities to come search out the rest of the treasure. A team of archaeologists from the Suffolk Archaeological Unit came out the next day and began to dig up what would be the largest Roman treasure trove ever recovered in Britain. The treasure dated back to the fifth or sixth century and included close to fifteen thousand gold and silver coins and around two hundred other luxurious trinkets like jewelry, silverware, and art. The pieces are on permanent display around Britain and are valued at over three million US dollars currently.
