Casper College is a public college located in the heart of Wyoming in Casper, Wyoming, United States. Casper College is one of the largest and most comprehensive community colleges in the region. Established in 1945 as Wyoming's first junior college and initially located on the third floor of Natrona County High School, Casper College moved to its current site 10 years later. Currently the campus consists of 28 buildings on more than 200 acres. The grounds are distinctive, with terraces that surround the modern buildings. It currently enrolls 4,023 students. There are approximately 250 faculty. The Tate Geological Museum is located on the south end of the campus. In 2011 Casper College was ranked in the Top 25 of all community colleges in the nation by StateUniversity.com. Warren A. Morton , the Casper oilman and former Speaker of the Wyoming House of Representatives, was a Casper College trustee.

Food Trucks, a Fort, and Dinosaur Bones in Casper Wyoming

On this Airstream Life vLog, we leave the Black Beach Campground on Alcova Reservoir and head up to Casper Wyoming. We are staying at the Rivers Edge RV Resort in a spot right by the North Platte River. It's a nice RV Park! We show you around a bit before heading to some fun events around Casper. First a food truck rally for some delicious food. Next to Fort Casper to step back into history. Finally a stop at the Tate Museum to check out some more cool dinosaur bones and fossils.

Fort Caspar Museum

Road trip March 2019

Road trip with our two oldest granddaughters to Dodge City, Kansas, then on to Colorado to visit Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. Off to Casper Wyoming to the Tate Geological Museum, then on to Montana to See The Battle of the Little Big Horn. We then went into South Dakota to visit Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument, Deadwood, Wall Drug and The Badlands National Monument. We had 2 detours because of flooding of the Little Big Horn River and the Missouri River. We then ended our trip in Hannibal, Missouri to see Mark Twains Home. In all we went through 7 states and over 3300 Miles. What a great time.

Casper, Wyoming

Casper is a city in and the county seat of Natrona County, Wyoming, United States. Casper is the second-largest city in Wyoming, according to the 2010 census, with a population of 55,316. Only Cheyenne, the state capital, is larger. Casper is nicknamed The Oil City and has a long history of oil boomtown and cowboy culture, dating back to development of the nearby Salt Creek Oil Field. In 2010, Casper was named the highest-ranked family-friendly small city in the West, and ranked eighth overall in the nation in Forbes magazine's list of the best small cities to raise a family.
Casper is located in east-central Wyoming at the foot of Casper Mountain, the north end of the Laramie Mountain Range, along the North Platte River.
