Escape room to nowy pomysł na zabawę ze znajomymi. Gra polega na tym, by wydostać się z zamkniętego pokoju pełnego zagadek. Drużyny mają na to tylko godzinę.
Ekipa Uniwerek.tv odwiedziła dwa warszawskie escape roomy: Escape Plan Warsaw i Quest Hunt.
Przejście gardy otwartej - Torreador
Na grupie początkującej Trener Krzysiek pokazał popularne przejście otwartej gardy, tak zwanego torreadora. Pamiętaj, żeby od razu po minięciu linii bioder, domknąć swój łokieć. Dzięki temu przeciwnikowi będzie trudniej rozpocząć ucieczkę z pozycji bocznej.

Swansea based BMX rider James Jones has been a busy boy this year. Between FISE, demos on the Action Sports Tour and placing 3rd in the Mongoose Jam back in July, James has also been putting together his latest edit with UK film-maker Luke Rance.
This project was all about showcasing a different side to James’ riding style and stepping away from the standard 2 minute clip you’d normally find doing the rounds.

Coś takiego nie może istnieć to wystawa fotograficzna w nurcie fotografii społecznie zaangażowanej. Bohaterkami są kobiety nieheteronormatywne (homoseksualne, biseksualne, transpłciowe i queerowe), życiowo związane z Białymstokiem.
Celem wystawy jest upomnienie się o przestrzeń dla kobiet, które nie wpisują się w tradycyjny wizerunek kobiecości. Jednocześnie jest próbą zainicjowania dialogu o współistnieniu różnorodnych grup społecznych w jednej przestrzeni miejskiej.
Ogromne podziękowania dla uczestniczek. :)
Something like it can not exist is photography project about non-hetero-normative (homosexual, bisexual, transgender quuer) women in Białystok, the city in west-east Poland. The purpose is to speak up for a space for women, who does not fit in to traditional feminine image.

Treblinka - Nazi-German extermination camp (ES, FR, IT, DE, RU)
The Treblinka extermination camp (centre) was built by the Germans in mid-1942 next to a nearby penal labour camp. It was established as a part of Operation Reinhard, the goal of which was to eliminate the Jewish population.
The first transport of prisoners arrived on 23 July 1942, bringing Jews from the Warsaw ghetto. From that day on, Jews were brought here mainly from the occupied Poland, but also Czechoslovakia, France, Greece, Yugoslavia, the USSR, as well as Germany and Austria. Romani and Sinti people from Poland and Germany were also brought here.
The prisoners were gassed with exhaust fumes in gas chambers built specifically for that purpose. Around 800,000 people are estimated to have died here.

A 2-2 draw in the second leg of the Champions League playoff between Legia Warsaw and Steaua Bucharest put the aggregate score at 3-3 and allowed the visitors to advance to the the group stage on away goals. Before the match, Legia fans were more focused on another adversary, though: competition organizers UEFA.
Earlier this month, UEFA ordered the Polish champions to pay a €30,000 fine and close the north stand of their stadium — home to the club's troublemaking ultras — for Tuesday's match as punishment for racist behavior during their second qualifying round tie against Welsh club The New Saints FC. So prior to the second-leg match aignast Steaua, Lega supporters choreographed a large display in the club's colors that spelled out UEFA Ultra Extreme Fanatical Atmosphere with a heart as a background. It then disintegrated into an orgy of flares that told the administrative body exactly how they felt about the sanctions.
The display was reminiscent of Eskisehirspor fans responding to the Turkish FA banning flares by holding up a giant troll face banner with flares burning through it last year. The lesson here? Never underestimate football supporters' ability to flout authority with pyrotechnics.
