My Adventure To Batsto Village
We took a trip to Batsto Village in the Wharton State Forest of New Jersey. It's a wonderful place to visit with so many things to see and learn about. So I figured I'd share my adventure with you so you can enjoy it as much as I did!

Microadventures: Hiking at Batsto Village, Wharton State Forest: Hammonton NJ
In our very first Microadventures video, we share one of our favorite family-friendly spots in southern New Jersey: Historic Batsto Village. According to the official website:
Batsto Village, is a New Jersey historic site located in the South Central Pinelands, which is administered by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Parks & Forestry. This site is nationally recognized for its historical significance and beauty. The roots of Batsto Village can be traced back to 1766. Two centuries of American history are available to visitors, with the Pinelands environment as a scenic backdrop. Numerous campgrounds and RV sites are available nearby as well, with access to the area lakes.
This cool little historic village also provides easy access to numerous hiking and mountain biking trails right from the main parking lot, making it a really cool spot we find ourselves coming back to over and over. In this video you get to tag along with the whole HEO family as we tackle one of it's shorter kid-friendly loops with lakeside views.
We'll also share some tips on managing the challenges of microadventuring with kids and getting the most out of every experience, as well as test out some snacks from Honey Stinger and share our thoughts on the 3.0 down insulated jacket from Mountec. Thanks for hanging out with us!
