The Big merino Sheep,Goulburn and Lake George, NSW Australia
The Big Merino is a 15.2 metres (50 ft) tall concrete merino ram, located in Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia. Nicknamed Rambo by locals, the Big Merino contains a gift shop on the ground floor and a wool display on the second floor. Visitors can climb to the top and look out through the Merino's eyes to view the local area.
The Big Merino was officially opened on 20 September 1985. In 1992, the Hume Highway bypassed Goulburn, which resulted in a loss of 40 busloads of tourists to the Big Merino complex per day. On 26 May 2007, the Big Merino was moved to a location closer to the Hume Highway to increase visitor numbers, and is now located near the freeway interchange at a service station.

II GOULBURN II SYDNEY/AUSTRALIA 3rd JULY 2017
Hello people I’m back with my 3rd vlog. This time I’ve gone to Goulburn. Goulburn is approximate 2hours 4min from Sydney. While going there one the way you will see beautiful landscapes. Now something about Goulburn
Goulburn is a regional city in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia approximately 195 kilometres (121 mi) south-west of Sydney, Australia, and 90 kilometres (56 mi) north-east of Canberra. It was proclaimed to be Australia's first inland city through letters patent by Queen Victoria in 1863. Goulburn had an estimated population of 23,005 as at June 2015. Goulburn is the seat of Goulburn Mulwaree Council.
Goulburn is a railhead on the Main Southern line, a service centre for the surrounding pastoral industry, and also stopover for those travelling on the Hume Highway. It has a central park and many historic buildings. It is also home to the monument the Big Merino, a sculpture that is the world's largest concrete constructed sheep.
Goulburn is rich with lots of historical places, buildings, and monuments etc.

Goulburn NSW: Australia's oldest inland city
When you travel to Goulburn NSW you’ll realise immediately this unique inland city has a colourful history. The wealth and influence it once had is reflected in the scale and splendour of its streetscapes and it’s architecture. DETAILS:
Goulburn - Australian Icon Towns
Australia's first inland city that has attracted explorers since 1798 - well before the Big Merino and the construction of the Hume Highway, connecting Sydney and Melbourne.

Big things' in Australia - vpro Metropolis
Some Australians have taken up the habit of building 'big things' on the side of the road or in their yard, mostly to attract tourists. Enthusiasts Jen and Niall have been visiting these absurd constructions for almost thirty years. Today, they cross 'the worm' and 'the koala' off their list.
vpro Metropolis was a video project by Dutch broadcast organisation vpro, that ran from 2008 to 2015. Metropolis is made by a global collective of young filmmakers and TV producers, reporting on remarkable stories from their own country/city. We made a trip around the globe on one single issue: from local beauty ideals to Elvis impersonators, to what's it like being gay, or an outcast or a dog in different cultures.

Right now in Goulburn - General overview
In this general overview of the Goulburn region you'll hear from Goulburn Mulwaree Mayor, Bob Kirk; Chamber of Commerce member, Prue Martin; and Youth Opportunities Project Coordinator, Alysha House.
Australia's Big Things (Pick of Australia's weirdest and most wonderful big stuff)
From a six metre long barramundi to the largest beer can in the world, here's the pick of Australia's weirdest and most wonderful big stuff.
1. The Big Barramundi, Normanton, Queensland
At six metres high, this fish will always be bigger than the one you caught. It was erected in honour of the fantastic saltwater fishing Queensland's north offers.
2. The Big Beer Can, Cobar, NSW
This beer can is so big, it made it into the Guinness Book of Records in 1991, putting the tiny town of Cobar on the map. It is five metres tall, but more impressive is the fact that it would fit 10,000 schooners of beer if filled - that's more glasses of beer then there are townspeople.
3. The Big Merino, Goulburn, NSW
The Big Merino was originally built over a six month period in 1985 by local tradesmen. It stood on the highway which by-passed the NSW wool town, but was moved to the Hume Freeway in 2007 to attract more passers-by. It's the biggest Merino in the world, standing 15.2 meters high and weighing in at 97 tonne.
4. The Golden Gumboot, Tully, Queensland
Bringing glitz and glam to Tully, The Golden Gumboot was given to the town in 2003 for being the wettest in Australia. It stands at 7.9 metres high, which represents the town's record annual rainfall recorded in 1950.
5. The Big Ned, Glenwrowan, Victoria
Not content with the Aussie legend, the Victorian tourist town of Glenrowan decided to build a giant Ned Kelly. Ned arrived from Sydney in 1992, and stands at six metres high.
6. The Big Lobster, Kingston, South Australia
Definitely the freakiest of the lot, Kingston's Big Lobster is 17 metres high, 15.2 metres long and 13.7 metres wide. It was opened by then-Premier David Tonkin in 1979, and also doubles as a seafood restaurant.
7. The Big Bottle, Bundaberg, Queensland
It's the drink that made the town famous, and now there's a statue to match. This Bundy Rum bottle is six metres high, and is conveniently located near the Bundaberg Rum distillery.
8. The Golden Guitar, Tamworth, NSW
The Country Music capital of Australia is also home to a massive tribute to the award's trophy - a golden guitar. Standing at 12 metres high, the Golden Guitar was appropriately opened by Slim Dusty in 1988.
9. The Big Banana, Coffs Harbour, NSW
A major tourist attraction for the coastal town of Coffs Harbour since 1964, The Big Banana stands at five metres high, is 11 metres long, and deserves a spot on this list because it was Australia's first 'big thing'.
10. The Big Pineapple, Nambour, Queensland
The Big Pineapple was erected in 1971, stands at 16 metres high, and was heritage listed by the Queensland government in 2009.

Travel in Goulburn NSW, Australia
This poetry of another poet I just tried to sing it in a softer way.
The Ghost of the Goulburn Courthouse
Beneath the courthouse grounds in one of New South Wales oldest country towns lies the remains of the districts first and most dangerous bushrangers (outlaws). He was the first man to be hanged using a rope in 1840 and buried behind the goal, 15 years late his remains were found and reinterred, only to then be lost to history. In this story we look at who was this man, why was he executed and we try to locate his final resting place.
Goulburn Council - An Embarrassment to Australia
The Goulburn Mulwarree Council of New South Wales Australia recently voted to support a large waste processing facility on the riverbanks inside their town, surrounded by parks, schools, day care centers, churches and homes.
It seems a wealthy local businessman, Andy Divall, used his influence to get the votes.
The public was against this plan by an estimated 90%, but the local council didn't care.
It is truly an embarrassment for Goulburn, and Australia.
