About
Our aim is to increase the number of cyclists on roads and pathways by making cycling more accessible to all.
Description
Marc Rickard is The Bike Pedaler. He believes in the general good that is a bicycle. Bicycles are green in that they have a very small carbon footprint compared to other forms of transport. The Bike Pedaler will promote and source Canadian-made, and ethically produced bicycle products for local customers.
General Information
The Bike Pedaler will be a leader in the community for education, empowerment and facilitating bicycle use and ownership to all members of society. It is the goal of The Bike Pedaler to hear from customers that they are so happy they came in - that they've never loved their bicycle as much before, and wonder when the next group ride will take place.

7,200 km 15 day bike ride from Vancouver to Halifax
It's November 29; a cold and cloudy day in British Columbia. The last thing on most peoples mind is bike riding, but if you are going to ride coast-to-coast 7,200 km, you have to be training. Why would anyone put themselves through such a grueling bike ride? Fame? Fortune? Olympic Gold?
It's about doing something for others.
Biking Through The Lighthouse Trail | Louisbourg, NS
Sup guys! Quick little video of our session on the bikes out in Louisburg yesterday. Pretty basic video but between cliff jumping season and snowboarding season we don't have much to film hahaha. Shoot us some video ideas in the comments if you have any in mind & we'd be stoked to entertain them!

Halifax MacDonald Bridge Bike Lane
Halifax bound on the McDonald Bridge bike lane. Filmed starting about halfway over and then coming down into Halifax. The bike lane is approximately 1.7 kilometers long and is the only Active Transportation link between Halifax and Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
Unfortunately this link will be shut down for over 18 months because of bridge re-decking project. Active Transportation is not seen as a priority in Halifax and all the infrastructure money is dedicated to automobiles.

I want to ride my tricycle! I want to ride my Google Trike!
What weighs 115 kg, sports 3 wheels, takes pix, and rhymes with Shmoogle Shmike? Yeah yeah... it's the Google Trike! This pedal-powered beauty goes where the Google Van can't go, taking photos for Google Street View.

All you need to know about the 110km Rum Runners Trail. The 'rails to trails' runs along the South Shore of Nova Scotia and offers up some incredible views, tasty treats, good beer and lasting memories.
We partnered with Bike Nova Scotia and Nova Scotia Tourism to film this two-part series. The goal was to capture the Rum Runners Trail and the Celtic Shores Trail to make a 30-second commercial for each. This is the 'BEHIND THE SCENES' from each of these projects. Enjoy!
