I feel it is fun to explore your own city like a tourist. So, in this video, I have travelled in HOHO (Hop On/Hop Off) Bus to a few of the must-visit places of Delhi.
HOHO bus is a sightseeing tour (a part of Delhi Tourism) initiative to help the tourists explore the must-visit places of Delhi in the best possible manner. Visiting the TAJ MAHAL a WORLD WONDER + Day Trip to Fatehpur Sikri | Agra, India
On my fourth day in India I teamed up with Tours by Locals to explore the Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri. Tours by Locals in Agra:
TRAVEL HUSTLE REPEAT GEAR ►
MY FILM MAKING KIT ►
The best way to get to Agra from Delhi is to take the high speed train which is called the Gatiman Express. It take's only 90 minutes to get to Agra. The train runs everyday (except Friday) at 8:10 am.
When I arrived Shanoo my Tours by Locals guide picked me up and took me straight to the Taj Mahal. This is the most beautiful building in the world! It is my 4th wonder and it was truly amazing!
After that we went to Handicraft Marble Industries to see how the same families that made the Taj Mahal still put inlays in to marble. This is definitely a must visit after seeing the Taj Mahal.
Lastly we headed to Fatehpur Sikri a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is located around a 45 minute drive South West of Agra. Fatehpur Sikri was founded as the capital of Mughal Empire in 1571 by Emperor Akbar, serving this role from 1571 to 1585. It was abandoned in 1610. If you have two days in Agra then you have to go visit Fatehpur Sikri!
I hope you loved this video! Have you ever been to the Taj Mahal or any other of the seven wonders of the world or Fatehpur Sikri?

Delhi, set on the both sides of river Yamuna, is a glorious & endlessly fascinating city reflecting an incredible blend of both modern, traditional & historical values of India. Delhi is not a state, but rather the National Capital Territory (NCT) of India. Delhi, one of the world’s oldest cities, became India’s capital in 1912 when the British moved the seat of government from Calcutta. Today, the area has become one of India’s most vibrant and fast-growing metros. Delhi has a mixed culture and people of all communities and religions live here.
Delhi is one of the most populated city in the world with a population of 18.98 million. Over the last 10 years, Delhi has gone through a lot of upgradation. It has now better roads, flyovers, shopping malls, entertainment complexes and especially the brilliant metro train – the best & the most convenient way to travel in and around the city. This network of air-conditioned train connects all the important locations in Delhi.
Delhi has many historical monuments like Qutab Minar (the world’s tallest brick minaret), Humayun Tomb, Old Fort (Purana Qila), Jama Masjid, Jantar Mantar, Red Fort, Tuglaqabad Fort, Lotus Temple & many more…

In one day in old Delhi, India, we had 7 delicious street foods all made in the halal style.
We started out the day with an AMAZING ramadan experience at the largest Mosque in Delhi, Jama Masjid. We picked up a ton of different Indian street foods to bring to the mosque and break the fast with all the locals. We shared the delicious food, and then went back to the streets of Old Delhi to try more food.
The first food we had on our street food tour was the Delhi Fried Chicken, DFC, covered in Indian spices like masala and mustard. It was extremely JUICY and PLUMP!!!
Afterwards, we tried more BBQ chicken and then went for a nice Indian dinner cooked by one of the locals in Old Delhi. His family recipes were passed down to him and his food was legendary! We ate Indian Chicken Biryani and chicken korma curry along with Buffalo Korma along with Kameeri Roti! It was absolutely delicious!
After this, we went to the LEGENDARY Changezi chicken joint that invented the recipe for this juicy and flavour packed chicken curry dish!
To finish of the day, we went for some delicious BBQ Seekh Kebabs, extremely flavourful!!

48 Hours in India: Delhi, Agra & Jaipur
48 Hours in India: Delhi, Agra & Jaipur
India is a country that would take an entire lifetime to fully explore, so when we set our sights on just 48 hours in India, we knew it would be a challenge. However, knocking out the Golden Triangle (Delhi, Jaipur, Agra) in a weekend might just be possible.
TripVerse dared us to try and accomplish the feat and we took on the challenge, always up for proving adventure travel in exotic destinations is possible, even during a weekend trip.
If you know us, you know we take any chance we can to travel, but spending 48 hours in India has been on our list for a long time, and with so many short, cheap flights to India from Dubai, it was only a matter of time before we took on the challenge. Using a three day weekend, we flew direct to Delhi and had a car and driver waiting for us.
The Golden Triangle is one of the most popular tourist routes in India, allowing travelers to visit New Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur in just a few days time as all three cities are not only very close together, but vastly different.
We knew we wanted to end the trip with Delhi, so we immediately landed and headed straight to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal, and tried to get there before sunrise to avoid the crowds.
The Taj Mahal is just one of those sights that you can't really believe you are looking at, something you see 1,000 times in pictures and movies your entire life. As we arrived early enough, the entire site was void of crowds and covered in a layer of mist and fog. It was incredible to watch this amazing building emerge from the fog into all its glory as the sun broke. Take your time, explore the area from all angles and take the time to just sit down and stare at one of the most amazing buildings ever built.
Remember: No camera tripods are allowed in, so make sure to check them at the entrance building before going in. You'll have to check your backpacks as well.
One your way out of the Taj, walking down the street towards the entrance, just passed the Oberoi Villas is a hotel called Taj Spice which you cannot miss. Without any of the expense or fuss of such a fancy hotel, you can easily get up to their amazing rooftop cafe and sit outside while enjoying the same beautiful view people pay thousands for at the Oberoi. Their food is delicious and beer cold - and cheap!
Check out our full 48 Hours in India itinerary on TripVerse for more detailed information on this and all the places we visited and recommend!
On our way out of town, we stopped at the beautiful Agra Fort, which would easily the be the most stunning site in Agra if it weren't for the Taj Mahal. It is well worth the visit and a fraction of the price of the Taj. ($1 instead of $10)
As soon as we wrapped up at the Agra Fort and the sun was setting it was on to Jaipur! We raced against the clock to make the 4-hour drive before it got to late and arrived at our hotel around 9 pm. A quick meal and we were off to sleep. We were exhausted but loving the adventure!
No 48 hours trip to India should be without a visit to Jaipur if you are anywhere close. It might just be my favorite city in India. There is just something different about being in Rajasthan, the Pink City, as it is called.
There is enough to fill 48 hours alone in Jaipur, but we really only had part of a day so we did all the exploring in the time we had and saw a ton! First, it was off to the old part of the city to visit the Jaipur Palace, one of the coolest and most detailed palaces we've ever seen. Make sure to make your way back to the hidden chamber with detailed and ornately decorated doorways honoring the four seasons. Make sure to have your camera ready, they are made for Instagram!
Heading out of Jaipur, stop and visit the Floating Palace and the Elephant Village. We weren't interested in paying to ride or wash the elephants, just wanted to see them. If you drive down the road from the Elephant place, there is an actual village where each family cares for 2-3 elephants and this is really cool to see. Huge elephants and people living in harmony is a wonderful thing.
Jumping back in the car with Prakash, we headed directly to the Amer (or Amber) Fort, which is one of the most amazing places we have ever seen that we never knew existed! TripVerse said we should make the trek all the way up the stairs to the top and thank god we did. The Amer Fort is SUCH an amazing place to explore and I am shocked we'd never heard of it before.
We could have gotten lost here for hours, so make sure you take the time to just wander through the hidden hallways and secret...

New Delhi India ~ Golden Triangle Tour
We started our New Delhi trip at the Rashtrapati Bhavan - this is now the official residence of the president of India. This area of more than 5 acres is a popular place where many important ceremonies are held. I was a little disappointed to learn that you cannot get close at all to any of the buildings, but it was worth the stop anyhow.
Within view of the Rashtrapati Bhavar you can see the India Gate - which is quite majestic looking, even from a distance. The India gate was stop number 2 on our trip!
The India Gate is a massive red sandstone arch, built to commemorate the Indian and British soldiers who died in WW1, the North West frontier province and the 3rd Afghan War. An eternal flame burns in memory of all who have passed.
The third site we visited was Humayun’s Tomb. This is best described with a little history about the Mughal dynasty, which was very powerful and influential. They ruled over India for over 300 years. At the height their empire extended from Kandahar in the North West to Bengal in the East and from Kashmir in the North to the Deccan in the South. The Mughals established a rich blend of Islamic and Hindu traditions. Humayun’s Tomb, was created for the second Mughal emperor. It was built in 1565 by the Persian architect Mirzk Mirza Ghigas. It was commensurate by Humayun’s senior wife Haji Begum. Inside the tomb lies the Mughal emperor, his wives and other family members. Inside the beautiful built tomb you can feel the abundance that was once here. And outside there are beautiful gardens.
4. After embracing all of the beauty from Humayun’s Tomb, we made our way to the Lotus Temple. The Lotus Temple is also known as Baha’i house of worship. This is Delhi’s most modern structure. The temples religion originated in Persia and is based on all humanity being of one race. Followers of all religions are allowed and it is a place where silence and order prevail. It was completed in 1986 and has the shape of a lotus made from white marble. The most amazing thing about this stop was looking from the outside at this magnificent structure. We could not take footage of the inside of the temple unfortunately, however, it was quite plain when compared to other temples. The other thing I found fascinating was the people watching, there were so many people everywhere and it was so incredibly amazing to see such crowds come to visit this Temple, 99% of whom were from India!
We finished our first day in New Delhi with the Qutb Minar, what a great way to finish the day! Here is a little history of this site: Constant internal war in India left them open to attack from a new wave of muslim rulers. These rulers were enticed by tales of India’s fabulous wealth. Some of these rulers stayed and became collectively known as the Delhi Sultanates. It was Qutbuddin Abak who founded many muslim dynasties and who also built the Qutb Minar in Delhi. The Qutb Minor is India’s highest single tower. It marked the site of the first muslim kingdom. It was constructed to announce the advent of the muslim sultans. It is a fusion of decorated Hindi pillars and Islamic domes and arches. The beauty here amazed me for hours.
On Day 2 we visited 3 sites, all were a little farther away than the ones we visited on the first day. We started our trip with Akshardham in New Delhi which is an amazing temple.
The next stop we made was Red Fort also known as Lal Qila - Lal means red and Qila means fort. This seat of power created by the Mughal emperors got its name because of the red sandstone which was used to build build it
Tour Guide:
Mr. Dali Jeets you can find him at: Fiveseasontours.com or info@fiveseasontours.com his personal email is Dalijeetsn@yahoo.com
The last stop of the day was the Laxminarayan Temple, also known as the Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple.
This temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi, It was the first large Hindu temple built in Delhi.

Connaught Place Market, CP Delhi, India
Connaught Place was the first shopping destinations to be built in India. I was designed and built by The Britishers in 1933. Today Connaught Place is the most expensive real estate of India and one of the top ten in the world. Why. Find out answers to that question and much more in this video.
Connaught place is one of the largest commercial, financial and business centre's in New Delhi, India. The former location of the head quarters of the British Raj, it is counted as one of the top heritage structures in the capital city of Delhi.
Today it is the 4th most expensive office destination and the 5th highest priced market in the world. Connaught Places, is instantly recognizable on any map of Delhi, as a big circle in the middle with radial roads spreading out in all directions, it house some legendary restaurants like Embassy, and cinemas like Odeon, Regal and Rivoli, (also Rivoli is now PVR Rivoli, there is also PVR Plaza which is in CP).
Connaught Place was the first shopping destinations to be built in India. I was designed and built by The Britishers in 1933. Today Connaught Place is the most expensive real estate of India and one of the top ten in the world. Why. Find out answers to that question and much more in this video.
Connaught place is Delhi's pride, there is nothing better than sitting in Central park on a warm winter afternoon.
The Central Park in CP or Connaught place has ben rebuilt in 2005/6 after the construction of the Delhi Metro station, Rajiv Chowk, which in a way is like the heart of the metro network in Delhi, it is also the interchange for the yellow and blue lines of the metro and is one of the largest and busiest stations on the entire network. Today, right above the station in Central park, cultural events are regularly hosted. CP, is a hub, most youngsters planning an evening out do connect here, and then kick off the evening. The list of restaurants, street food and brands like Keventers all call CP home.

And so our 12-day adventure in India begins! We took an Air India red-eye flight direct from Shanghai to New Delhi. Our flight was a little delayed, so we only arrived in New Delhi at 3:00 am. We used the prepaid car service inside the arrivals terminal for transportation from the airport to our hotel. This was a mistake! We were charged 1,500 rupees only to find out that we could have used the prepaid taxi service just outside the terminal for 500 rupees. Something to remember for next time! :)
We stayed at the New Delhi Railway branch of the Ginger Hotel chain. It's located just 200 meters from the Ajmeri Gate side of the train station, which is convenient for early departures or late arrivals. The hotel is affordable and clean, although the flusher on our toilet didn't work very well. The restaurant has good options for all meals. We want to note that there is a significant amount of noise pollution from the train station - constant honking! If you're a light sleeper, you might want to find a hotel further away from the train station.
We only slept for 2.5 hours and were impressed that we managed to stay out and active the whole day. After spending the morning walking around the backpacker-friendly Pahar Ganj neighborhood (on the opposite side of the train station from Ginger Hotel), we pooled our resources with friends to hire a car and driver for the afternoon, which cost 1,800 rupees total for four hours. Hiring a car and driver is definitely the way to go for sightseeing in Delhi, especially if you're short on time like we were. The city is huge, traffic can get very congested, and a car and driver are relatively affordable.
Because we got a late start to our driving tour, we only managed to see three tourist sites: Red Fort, Raj Ghat, and India Gate. Raj Ghat was especially beautiful. It's the site of Mahatma Gandhi's final resting place. The park areas at Raj Ghat are lovely! If you're not pressed for time, we recommend taking a picnic and staying for a while. ;)
We went to Connaught Place for dinner. The area is filled great restaurants and as well as a famous bakery, Wenger's. We were pretty exhausted by dinner, so we opted to return to the hotel early as opposed to exploring the neighborhood at night. But it looked like a happening place!
The next morning, we woke up at 4:30 am to catch our train to Agra, home of Taj Mahal! Looking forward to sharing that vlog!
As always, thank you for watching!!
And happy travels!! :D

DELHI TO BALI (Indonesia): Advantages of Malaysia Airlines? How I got Bali Visa?
SUBSCRIBE -
This is the first video of the Bali series. I travelled from Delhi to Bali with Malaysia Airlines. I enjoyed the in-flight entertainment, comfortable reclining seats and relished the vegetarian food. Although it would be better if the flagship carrier of Malaysia can offer more variety of food for vegetarians. After reaching Bali, the first target was to get the Visa on arrival. Bali offers free Visa-on-Arrival for Indian citizens.
