Eden izmed simbolov, ki predstavlja mesto Ljubljana je zmaj. V centru mesta se nahaja Zmajski most, zgrajen v obdobju, ko je bila Ljubljana del Avstro-Ogrske monarhije. Zmajski most velja za enega lepših primerkov Dunajske secesije v Ljubljani, poleg tega pa je tudi eden izmed prvih armiranobetonskih mostov v Evropi.
Ljubljanski zmaj je prepoznaven simbol mesta in tudi del Ljubljanskega grba. Zmaj je povezan z legendo, v kateri je Jazon, junak Grške mitologije, prišel v Ljubljano s svojimi tovariši - Argonavti. Blizu izvira reke Ljubljanice so naleteli na zmaja, katerega je Jazon v boju premagal in ubil. Legenda pravi, da je zmaj še vedno pokopan nekje pod gradom. Čeprav v zgodbi zmaj nastopi kot zlobna pošast, smo ga vzeli za svojega in njegov simbol lahko najdete povsod po mestu, celo na pokrovih odtočnih kanalov.

The hostel (hostel-tresor.si) is especially interesting because it is located in a former bank, and this brings a special charm. In addition, hostel is located in the historical city center, which is very advantageous for guests. In direct vicinity of the hostel you can explore a number of boutique stores, enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables at the market, have a drink in a number of coffee shops and bars lining the banks of the Ljubljanica, visit theatres, museums, galleries or explore the night life in Ljubljana. Theme of the video we took feathers, soft and gentle to us combines up lightness and comfort. Feathers us through a video link displays the guests and staff at a little different and fun way, in particular, shows the pleasure of staff at the satisfaction of their guests . The staff at the hostel are friendly and smiling and extremely communicative . Kindness and communication skills is an important factor in the very being of guests from the arrival , stay and departure . That is why we are in the video using people who are employed and whose work relates directly to the guests.
The story is about a young couple who was staying there and enjoying the comforts of the hostel . Their minor problem help to solve hostel's comfortable and light room and bed with feathered pillows to begin toss, which evokes romantic feelings . Feathers out of the room and then traveling around the hostel and connects guests to the staff . By evening , the hostel is filled with feathers , which the hosts triggered a wave of enthusiasm , which leads to spontaneous fun . The next morning the couple wakes up, and it seems that they were all together just a dream. But a girl with a boy's body blow feathers, which testifies to the fact that it really happens . And the fact that the hostel is an easy , gentle , friendly and comfortable as feathers is. And that there guests can really enjoy and relax .

From a geological point of view, the cave is several million years old. The first human traces discovered in the cave date back to the Pleistocene glaciation.
The cave of Postojna is a karst network located near the town of Postojna in Slovenia about 50 km southwest of the capital Ljubljana.
The cave of Postojna is a tangle of more than 20 km of caverns and galleries (discovered until today), where in 185 years passed more than 30 million visitors2. Indeed, these are the largest caves of the Carso, as well as the most visited of Europe. In the Pivka river complex, the most famous caves are the Cave of Postumia, the Otok Grotto, the Abisso della Pivka, the Black Cave and the Cavernone della Planina.

The caverns are rich in stalagmites and stalactites which form imperceptibly, and whose formation requires thousands of years. The development of these stalagmites and stalactites is due to the influx of water containing calcium carbonate which deposits forming the concretions.
The average temperature of the cave is 10 ° C, which increases slightly in summer and decreases somewhat in winter. On the other hand, the humidity is very high and it is advisable to dress a raincoat for visits.

La grotte de Postojna est un réseau karstique situé près de la ville de Postojna en Slovénie à environ 50 km au sud-ouest de la capitale Ljubljana.
La grotte de Postojna est un enchevêtrement de plus de 20 km de cavernes et galeries (découvertes jusqu’à aujourd’hui), où en 185 années sont passés plus de 30 millions de visiteurs2. En effet, ce sont les plus grandes grottes du Carso, ainsi que les plus visitées d'Europe. Dans le complexe hydrographique de la rivière Pivka, les cavernes les plus célèbres sont la Grotte di Postumia, la Grotte de Otok, l'Abisso della Pivka, la grotte Noire et le Cavernone della Planina.

Les cavernes sont riches de stalagmites et stalactites qui se forment de façon imperceptible, et dont la formation demande des milliers d’années. Le développement de ces stalagmites et stalactites est dû à l’afflux d’eau contenant du carbonate de calcium qui se dépose formant les concrétions.
La température moyenne de la grotte est de 10 °C, qui augmente légèrement l’été et diminue un peu l’hiver. Par contre, le taux d’humidité est très élevé et il est conseillé de se vêtir d’un imperméable pour les visites.

Split (Spalathos) (Spaltum) Croatia 400BC-2019AD history on location
Split Croatia history starts about 400-300 BC when a Greek colony Aspalathos was on the shores of the Adratic here related to larger Greek settlement on nearby Vis Island all people from Ancient Greek Syracuse Sicily. They traded with the local nearby Dalmatae Illyrian tribe who and paleolithic people had been many thousands of years. Around 300-350 BC a powerful new Rome starts conquering its neighbors coming here in the Illyrian Wars which the Roman Empire subdued and took over the whole region. The last Illeryian King was defeated in 168BC. Salona (present day Solin) was built as the capital of Roman Dalmatia Province and was one of the largest cities in the empire with 60,000 people 5 km away from here. Saplatum (Roman name for Split) was still a smaller settlement.
Roman Empire Dioclecian who rained from 284-305AD, who was a Dalmatian local of humble beginnings, built a fortified retirement palace that housed 10,000 people, the now middle of Old City Split. As Emperor he instituted many policies to revamp the Empire, his army put down many rebellions from Britain to Persia, and he was an old Roman religion conservative. He wanted all in the empire to follow the Roman Pagan religion and in 298-300 the last Emperor to persecute and kill Christians, including beheading the Bishop of Solana, St. Dominus, the patron saint of Split. The former Emperor after getting sick on a trip, was one of the only emperors to abdicate his throne, and lived out his days there in retirement but still an advisor of sorts from 305-311AD.
Constanius was his successor and the Roman Empire changed drastically shortly after. Capital was moved from Rome to Byzantium (Istanbul) in 330 because of threats. Constanius son Emperor Constantine became Christian in 391 and made it the state religion. A decision that changed the entire world, and would have made Diocletian squirm. 395 the Empire officially split in 2 while Split was part of the East, they were more aligned with their Western Empire past and to this day been Roman Catholic majority. In 475-480 the palace hosted one of the last Western Roman Emperor Flavius Julius Nepos who was murdered by rivals in the palace. The region was lost in 493 to the Orthogothic Kingdom that sacked Roman in 476 when Western Roman Empire fell. But the East stayed strong and changed into Byzantium and they recaptured Split area in 536. Then Avars from Central Asia attacked and destroyed nearby Salona in 639 with locals fleeing to islands and the Split palace.
Also around 550-650AD also is when Slavic people who would become the Croats began migrating into the area. Slavs thought to originate in the marshes of Ukraine around 100AD split into many groups that now inhabit areas from Balkans,Czechia,Poland,Ukraine, Russia, and more. Croats are one of many Southern Slav ethnicities. The Croats aligned with Byzantium and they both changed the mausoleum of the palace into a cathedral and Pagan temples into churches all over the region as the coastal cities had city state status. The first Croatian Kingdoms existed from 845-1105AD building capital nearby fortress Klis about 10 km away and were one of the most powerful in Europe at times. Although the coastal towns like Split had some autonomy but were defacto ruled by Byzantium but subjects of the Kingdom.
1105 the Kingdom of Hungary conquered Croatia. But many areas like Split were still tied to Byzantium until 1204 sack of Byzantium by crusaders. Byzantine would regain foothold in late 1200s but never here or to its former extent. Split was an independent state within Hungary until the 1400s civil war, that when over, Split is sold to the Venetian Empire where it flourishes however. The city loses its long time ally as Byzantium ceases to exist as the Muslim Turks sack Constantinople 1443, change it to Istanbul, and Ottoman Empire begins to assert itself on the region.
The Ottomans capture the Croatian fortress of Klis in 1540 and also many areas in the region but never capture Split itself. Split at this time a Croatian majority but also Venetian and other Italians living in it grew beyond palace walls to a lot of what we see today. 1797 Split is ceded to Austrian Hapsburg Empire ending 377 years of Venetian rule. Napoleonic French took it over in 1805 but Austria with British help retook Split in 1813. The city remained in the Austria-Hungary Empire until 1918 end of WW1. Then first Yugoslavia Kingdom was created, WW2 Nazi installed brutal puppet Croatian government, after back to now communist Yugoslavia. 1990s wars, 1991 becoming a part of Croatia, now since 2000 a big booming tourism industry.

Day 94 - Caves ’N Castles
We woke up bright and early to pick up our car from Ljubljana main train station. We received a silver Opel Corsa with a built-in screen and bluetooth, LOVELY! After hooking up the essentials of music and maps, we set off on our 45-minute journey to the south-west of Slovenia, to Postojna cave. I had read online that this cave was very commercialised. So much that there was a train ready to take us into the heart of the cave. I have to say the reviews are correct. However, I can only think that the eco-systems they have destroyed in there with their human activity can only be evened out by there conservation efforts, especially for the cave animals. They seem to really care about them. When we arrived, we took in the lovely surrounding view and headed up to the cave entrance. We paid to enter the cave, the cave animal enclosure and Predjama castle, which is around 10 miles away. It was MEGA expensive, €35 each! We complained at the time, but once we realised all of them were with guided or voice tours, it turns out we felt value for our money. We boarded the train and sat right at the front behind our cool, Slovenian guide. The train was so long and took us quite a while to walk to the front. We eventually started to creep into the cave. When I say creep, I mean FLY. The train was so fast it really took us by surprise. The temperature grew colder and the outside world was behind us. Once we arrived at the platform, it was so cold! I had to get my hoody on ASAP. We then proceeded to take a tour around this beautiful, humongous cave system. Our guide was very knowledgeable and you can see many of the facts in the video. However, the coolest section for me was the Black Cave. The story behind it was so cool and the fact we could see the aftermath of a major historical event was pretty cool. Sadly, the tour ended, I was eager to move on but Claire loved her cave experience so much I think she wanted to go back and live with the cave salamanders. We drove to Predjama castle. I was super excited about this place! It’s the biggest castle in the world that is built inside a cliff face. It’s part cliff, part castle!! We had a voice tour around here and it was so interesting and beautiful. They seemed very proud of the Austrian knight who called this place home. He’s their most ‘famous’ resident so to say. The outside of this castle was so beautiful and I was mainly staring at the scenery once the novelty of a cave castle wore off. Overall, the castle was so cool and the history was very interesting. We were both still pretty high from the awesomeness of the cave too, we loved it. We proceeded to drive to Škocjan caves to see them. However, it was getting pretty late and we wanted to go before it closed. However, when we arrived we walked around for ages and realised it was actually closed. Bummer.

Day 95 - Caves ’N Horses
Let’s pick up where we left off! Back at the Škocjan Caves. We dove back the next day so we didn’t miss out on its awesomeness. I was more excited about this cave, as it had the biggest underground canyon in Europe!! When we arrived, we paid for our tickets and waited for our tour. It seems like all the caves are very well protected and all have their own subset of rules. Škocjan was no exception and a guided tour was needed to see the caves. We set out on our tour and the first 10/15 minutes was just walking on roads and in the countryside. It was weird because there was quite a lot of people and it felt kinda unprofessional. We arrived and ascended down a very long way into the cave. No pictures or videos allowed. The cave was ginormous! The underground canyon was something I have never seen before and was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. Ruins of stairs, bridges and walkways can be seen throughout this cave too from hundreds of years ago, which was very cool to look at. We walked over a very high suspension bridge and was able to look at the spectacle. I honestly felt so insignificant in comparison to this place, like an ant in a football stadium. We eventually made it out the other side and I was pretty sad it was over. However, the next place on our agenda was the unique Lipica stud farm. A farm world famous for breading Lipasana horses. I don’t really have an interest in horses and was originally doing this for Claire's benefit. However, I had a really good time and I asked the guides so many questions! Claire loved it too. We got to see so many stallions, mares and cute foals. We even got to see like 60 of them run past us to go back into the stables which were so cool. Fantastic two days, can’t wait for the rest of Slovenia.

After training today we got an amazing treat. The school sent all the students to a huge stage show in town at the Tai Chi Theatre. The show was called A Dream of Wudang. It was a Wudang Kung Fu and Tai Chi musical that was really amazing. The story was of a young man who travels to Wudang to find a Master and adventures and love that he encounters on the mountain. The martial arts, acrobatic and dancing displays were really amazing.

Lene Kosti - Spread your Legs ( feat Mat Sinner )
The band Lene Kosti (Lazy Bones) has been formed in 1978, making it the first ever Heavy Metal band in Slovenia. Lene Kosti gained true prominence and cult status with a line-up change in 1985, when the vocalist Milan Krušic joined the band. With his distinct vocals as well as charismatic stage appearance Milan established Lene Kosti at the forefront of the raising Heavy Metal scene in Slovenia as well as an influence for other heavy metal bands in Slovenia. In this period Lene Kosti published their first tape, which became a true collector piece for heavy metal fans in Slovenia. It might seem that everything went well, but being a bunch of leather clad, long haired guys playing LOUD heavy metal with lyrics in ENGLISH didn't go well with the communist regime, ruling with an iron fist and determined to keep away all decadent western influences. Police interrogations, censorship, prohibition of concerts were the order of the day, making it more and more difficult to perform. In 2008, to mark the 30th anniversary of the formation, Lene Kosti regrouped and because of the enthusiasm of old as well as new fans decided to continue where they left of some twenty years before. Since then Lene Kosti played many concerts in Slovenia as well as Austria, the culmination being special guest performers at the concert of Grave Digger in Ljubljana, Slovenia. At this particular concert, Manni Schmidt from Grave Digger joined Lene Kosti on stage to play with them their most popular song Russian Girl. Lene Kosti have self-published a collection of demo tracks recorded in the eighties, on 14th of September 2009! After that, they went in studio to record their first proper CD. The CD includes guest performances of most repsected metal players from Germany! First guest appearance on Do Or Die album is bassist Matt Sinner from Primal Fear and Sinner, the other is ex Rage and Grave Digger guitarist Manni Schmidt. Lene kosti self-released their debut album called Do Or Die, on 5th of March 2010. Album was very well recieved among critics. Even more! It was chosen in prestigeous German metal magazine Rock Hard for the demo of the month (August, 2010) A very important gig happened in june 2010 when band played at Banja Luka Rock Open Air festival in Bosnia and Hercegovina, as well as on two festivals in Austria later this year (August 2010). On 30th of October Lene kosti open the show in Slovenia (town Kranj) in front of old school speed metallers Agent Steel from Florida (USA). The main goal for Lene kosti is to sign a contract with proper record label, because a material for new album is already in writting mode!
